I was reading some posts by rocket regarding the zombie virus in Dayz and I've learnt that the character you play as is immune to the virus. So I had this idea about, what if you had a 1/2 chance of spawning as someone who was not immune to the zombie virus? You would not know if you were immune or not until you get the virus. If you spend a prolonged amount of time inside cities and large towns, you have a high chance of getting the virus, once you got the virus, you would start coughing and your blood level will get lower, after an hour or so after getting the virus, you'll fall dead and get back up as a zombie. A way to reduce the risk of getting the virus is by finding a cloth or a bandana and putting it over your mouth and nose. You could also possibly find a gas mask which would spawn extremely rarely in military bases, which would completely reduce the risk of getting the zombie virus from hanging around cities. Although you might have a gas mask, that still doesn't completely protect you from getting the virus, if a zombie hits you and your not immune, you'll have a small chance of getting the virus too. Another idea to do with the masks and bandanas is if you get knocked unconscious by getting shot or hit by a melee weapon, the person that hit you can go up to you and remove the bandana or mask if you're wearing one, leaving you vulnerable to the zombie virus. Maybe you could find empty syringes in hospitals and you can use it with zombies to get their blood, then inject in enemies to weaken them and turn them into a zombie(if they were not immune), you could also possibly attach a syringe to a crossbow bolt and shoot people from far away. So that's my idea, what do you think? Anything you would add or take away, or is it just a horrible idea altogether?

You wouldn't be able to tell if you were immune or not when you spawn. You definitely should be able to throw poo at people. xD

So yesterday I found a vehicle and I managed to fix most of it up, but I couldn't find any engine parts. I realized that you could still drive even without engine parts, so I hid the vehicle in the woods. I'm really afraid to drive it much more in case it blows up or something. I haven't found any engine parts yet though. So I was wondering, how well do vehicles work without engine parts?

I logged in today, my 16th day alive, I was in the Balota military camp. My friend said he was in Cherno, as i began heading to Cherno a guy in a UAZ drove past. He got out of the car, shot some zombies and just drove off. I hesitated that whole time whether or not I should have killed him, I had decided too late, he was out of sight. I decided to chase him down, I sprinted towards where the car drove off, which was towards Cherno. A few seconds later my friends told me that a car just drove by. I made it to Cherno and found my friend, but the UAZ was gone, we decided to check out the hospital in Cherno. As we began to walk, the UAZ began coming back the way it came, I ducked down and shot the car. The survivor pulled over and got out of the car and began shooting, I managed to shoot his wheel before he killed me. My friend couldn't see the survivor and died too. I respawned, and lucky for me I spawned in Cherno! The survivor was still there but he hadn't seen me yet, I walked over to where our bodies were, he had looted them and then buried them. I saw the car drive away but he need fuel and needed to fix the wheel, so he stopped at the gas station. I crawled towards the gas station. The survivor began shooting me and I hid behind a bush, he must have been scared that I had a weapon so he threw a smoke grenade. I used that as my advantage, I quickly ran around into the forest just as the smoke went away. I looked over, the survivor was at the bush I was hiding looking for me. I sprinted to his UAZ and jumped into it. I put the foot on the gas and drove off, screaming "TAKE THAT SUCKER!" in direct chat. My friend had spawned in Kamenka, so I began driving towards it. I decided to drive in the bush so no one would see me. I was halfway there when all of a sudden someone shot me and I fell out of the car, I was unconscious, but he walked up and put another round in my head. I was dead. I don't know if it was the same guy who I stole the car off, or I just happened to come across another guy on a server with only 6 people on including me and my friend. Probably the most hilarious and exhilarating experience in DayZ I've ever had.
