    Hello, as you all know dayz is still quite buggy. Sometimes you notice your hands are bugged, or you can't see items you should be able to see, are unable to pick something up etc. The only option right now is to relog. With server queues that tends to hinder group play as your friends would have to wait around for an hour to get back. I propose some kind of debug mechanic which puts you into a stasis for a few seconds (like the 15s before logout) and then does what a relog *would* do (load everything from scratch). This could be done either via a chat commabd (eg say /debugme) or with a button in the main menu (where right now there's "options", and "exit", or "respawn" if you're currently dead) cheers

    I think the scout is going to be in .308 not 5.56 but there is going to be the "Steyr Aug" in the game, again! Remember, the setting is ~Russia so it's only natural there would be more eastern weapons

    it happens when you get too many cuts, "seven" is the highest number of bleeds it will show I have only seen this happen when someone stepped into several barbed wires, never saw it with a fire ... :/

    Why should they waste time on testing mods? It's not their fault if it doesn't work, and even if they find some error it would not be within their power to rectify it most of the time, because it is the modder's thing, not theirs.

    If you glot some cleptomaniacs as friends then you need to take control :P instead of giving them, make them sit down in front of you, being a good boy, and then you feed them the meds yourself haha.

    On official servers, not every night is the same, and that's a good thing. On community servers, it's fully up to the admins.

    Strong disagree. Put more value on your in game life, cherish all your loot. The game gets much more rewarding that way. Sure, as soon as you die because you joked around too much shooting zombies and running in the middle of a field, just because you didn't see anyone for two hours, and then you get 1shot in that open field, you'll hate yourself. So don't do that. Keep it real.

    I agree there should be a way to "refresh" the lifetime of mines, in the very least. They're not easy to be found in the first place. Trip wires were a thing in the mod, and I agree the sooner they're back, the better.

    Personally I have not encountered a straight up hacker before, but that could only be a matter of time. If it really is such a big problem, and it looks that way, then something more needs to be done, yes. Identifying a player would not be a problem with the logs, location and timestamp, The problem is that there is nobody to report to, for the official servers. You'd have to implement a report system, and that's kind of a big thing. Would have to take some of that DayZ money and actually put it into DayZ, instead of into other projects.

    For the hunger thing: try not running everywhere. The faster you move, the more "food per distance" it takes. Yes it's slower, but you won't starve. I guess you now know how to loot the zombies, by using "vicinity" (open inventory when standing on the zombie)? Using the map ... I guess you need some practice, and a compass. Once you get the hang of it, it's very easy and if you have a good line of sight to distinct landmarks you can pinpoint your location to within a few ten metres. Any other questions? Btw why do you call them neckbeards, that's kind of derogatory and not even an apt description?

    The problem is in the ability to rapidly change direction, to an unrealistic extent. Needs some tinkering for sure. Also, breaking limbs will probably make this much less of a problem, if it has real effects. Eg even if you don't kill him while he's running up to you, a non lethal hit might render him unable to swing the shovel as effective.

    you can kill yourself with any melee weapon (eg knife), you can also kill yourself by jumping off a roof or big stone, you can kill yourself by running into zombies if all else fails you can take off your shoes and run to get bleeds, though this is super tedious or you meet somebody and ask them to punch you unconscious I don't think there should be an option to kill yourself "just like that"
  15. Hello there, so there's a server that I, because the admins are toxic, do not want to play on any more. But it still shows up in my "recent" and that just irks me. Could an option to either reset "recent" or remove a single server be added? cheers

    I noticed that if I get close to an old base with loads of things inside my ping spikes a lot, and sometimes this means a kick. So use this information to get rid of the baser hoarders (from within the game)

    My opinion about dayz updates

    -grenades are not more common than food, don't be ridiculous -balancing raidability and utility of bases is hard, but I don't think this was a bad step, maybe add item decay in storage to help -grenades throw out fragmentation, they can fly even further than 10m -graphics for walls or barrels being destroyed will most likely be brought later, yes that would be nice -how would you, realistically, put down a log into pavement? -we cannot destroy models inside buildings because of engine limitations, where this game comes from -there will surely be more buildable things in the future -there will surely be car modding in the futurre get patient and stop being so salty

    The server I played on had this problem, but it was due to the mods they were using. Yesterday and today I got zero game crashes. The problem, if it persists, is on your end.

    Kuru in the game is fun. Keep it. Though I hate guys who feed it to freshies just to make them sick or choose to have to suicide. But that's a good thing, in a way.

    I agree this should be a thing! The effect should last longer than from a flashbang right now (which should also be longer), but minutes(3+) irl is too much imo. Also, new items, improvised hearing protection, commercially made hearing protection and high level active hearing protection that makes you hear normal (or even "better" with an ultra rare item) but making you impervious to tinnitus from noise.

    Walk Like a Zombie

    I would enjoy such a feature, but it should not make you invisible to zombies in my humble opinion. It should make them curious towards you still, and if they get really close (smelling distance, for an human that hasn't been washed in a few weeks) they should "get" it, scream and attack, and this should get far away zombies to see through the masquerade as well. But yes, walking like a zomvbie to fool far away things would be fun, but slow.

    As of right now the sun rays are "usable" in a tactical sense, because if you place yourself between the sun and your enemy you gain an advantage of being able to see the other guy much easier. I like that. But I think having sun glasses on should drastically reduce the sun rays, making that purely cosmetic item an useful one.
