you confuse hacking and cheating former is subset of the latter in gaming edit: hacking also means "using hacks", not just writing them, of course -

yeah today I even had another newspawn combat log on me... first he didn't respond (we both had melee weapons), and when people don't respond they're never friendly so I made it my mission to chase him down before he got a weapon and came after me. Lost him in a city because I had to sidetrack to kill someone ELSE who attacked me, and when I found him again he logged, the biatch killed 3 hoppers today though, that was fun -
pfff I just randomly died because of a ladder throwing me off it's top, had MAD, MAD gear ... so what?

Right choice for the first guy, second guy... it was safer this way. He MIGHT have been friendly but ... he probably thought you weren't friendly after shooting so would have acted in supposed self defense himself.

I am quite sure they will add some kind of watch :-) You can already get your position on the ingame map by using a compass and landmarks, I wrote something in the DayZ wiki here: http://dayz.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Orientation it was for the mod but most information still applies - I think the clouds no longer move in only one direction though edit: once you know your opinion on the ingame map you can give your buddy the grid coordinates -

I tried to play a medic and wore the brightest colours I could find so anybody in their right mind would KNOW I am not trying to be sneaky still got shot on sight of course... killed one of them but the other got me. Interesting side note: with enough energy, blood, water and health you do not go unconscious even when severely hurt (several bullet hits)

awesome! but keep in mind - pistols taken from dead bodies don't work, put that away or you'll end up hearing only "click-click" when you most need to hear "bang-bang"
