Hello! I just spawned in Balota, went to the airfield, found an AK74U (my favorite AK!) and proceeded to the barracks(**I mean hangar**). In there I saw someone with a hero skin (I myself have one, too), shouted "I'm friendly, don't shoot" just as he pumped the first round into me with a remington shotgun. I went into cover and brought my sights up, he walked around the cover and shot at me again, breaking my legs and bringing me below 1000 blood. However I was able to shoot him dead, yay! I managed to bandage myself to 126,38 blood and noticed I got a bandit kill... but he clearly had a hero skin! Unable to move, waiting for my buddy, I see him(??) getting into the hangar again, this time with a bandit skin and a hatchet. As he runs for me, I gunned him down again. Unfortunately that aggro'd some zombies and even though I was sure I hit them before they reached me, one bloodied me and I died. Was a fun event. But now to the question - anyone see a bandit with a hero skin? Is that possible? Could it have been that him shooting at me made him into a bandit but not yet changing his skin? Maybe he shot other people before me and didn't yet get the bandit skin? When exactly do you get that, right away or at the next spawn? have a nice DayZ! greetings

You cannot threaten someone with a morally and legally right action. And if it was admin abuse, a blacklist would be both. the analogy falls short. here's one for you: wizardry is unlawful and if you get spotted doing wizardry, for example creating a pot out of thin air, you are breaking the law. now if someone else comes by and picks up that pot, did he commit wizardry?

The facts, for outstanders: Both khalimerot and sqth are admins on that server. The helicopter did survive server restarts prior to us (me and my buddy) finding it. We were FUCKING THERE and waited until the 0300 restart went through to take it. We repaired it (it had a shot out engine) and flew it somewhere else and magically it's gone when we came back after taking some hours of sleep. The admins of FR35 have stated before that they do check player gear, position of tents players and vehicles in the log files. Not just for hackers but for everything apparently. I was threatened with a kick and ban for a weapon that IS ACTUALLY IN THE FUCKING GAME and I didn't cheat it in, I got it from a tent. ON THEIR SERVER! Within that discussion I told the admins that even if the weapon was hacked in (it is NOT) rocket specifically said that people should not be banned for it. http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/46844-hackers/#entry446536 The admin then told me basically that they do not care about the official server rules(!) if they feel like they know better. Now we stole the helicopter from the admins and it "magically" disappeared (and no, it was not at the position from where we stole it and where it DID survive a restart, since the admins are saying that's the problem, which it evidently, factually is not. That of course raises strong suspicions of admin abuse. And they are not at all cooperative as you seem, in fact they are rather defensive and throw out insults, red herrings and other distractions but do not comment on what really happened. They COULD just show a log file for a start...

yeah sure, the heli position doesn't get saved, that's why we found it saved at the spot you parked it and shot the engine out. also all other vehicles get saved just fine "threat"? are you fucking stupid? is it a threat if I say "don't smash my car or I will call the police"? asking for blacklist for "every one of my sad moments"? show me one instance where I asked for a blacklist. Maybe your english is too bad to understand even what you wrote yourself but I didn't even ask for a blacklist once yet. and yes, discovering that the admins, who are also players, not only check the logs for scripters and hackers but also for player gear, position, tent position, vehicle position is proper cause for concern

ammo crates do spawn. the 1 helicopter per server is "at the same time", not "total". dmr is in the game, dmr ammo is in the game, you are absolutely fine.

whats that supposed to mean it means they don't care about what the official rules of DayZ as laid out by say Rocket are, if they disagree. and to those same as to the following guy: Rob, you are basically saying "fuck your opinion, rocket, I don't care that you say as long if they didn't hack it in themselves they're fine, what I am saying is right. But making up their own rules (which I didn't know...) and putting them above the official rules... even stating that they don't give a damn about the official rules if they feel like it... yeah, that creeps me out a little. I am really glad that you guys have this mature approach to it - don't care where we are, where our tents are etc... Hope you still think that way after we first met and only I walk away ... with your gear and vehicles :) No, I am not a bandit, I do not shoot on sight, but ... I want the heli.
