Hey guys, what's happened to the server password? is it back on after the hacker nuked the server.

Do away with all NVG's, thermal scopes, ranger finders and any weapon larger then 7.62mm.

Well, just so happens that the AU 22 server has just gone down as the OCB players logged. no warning no indication that the server was going to going off line, now I can not get back on and retreive my gear. Good to see protocols from the Dayz dev team / admin are being implemented and followed. Can this be reported as server abuse please and investigated?

Gday folks, I am a little unsure where I should post this thread however after an agonising 4 days my latest toon has been killed off. Those that know me know that I don't get upset about a character death only how it died. 90% of the time I can say it is my fault and I can learn from the situation. However after raiding the SE Barracks at the NWAF I was teleported to god knows how high and let fall, no chance to ALT F4 or leave the game. Nobody else other then the OCB guys were on this server as I checked the list of players. This event occured 25 mins ago 2230 hrs GMT +9.5. This server has been down for three days reinstated not so long ago, if this was a clan kill thing then I would be serverely disappointed as a friend of mine suggested to come here as he was friends with people in the OCB clan. However, I believe the server was hacked I am pissed because I had only just found a pair of NVG's and kitted out with the M16 CCO SD and full tool belt minus the range finder. Is someone able to assist and restore my character?

Show us your people skills bro! :rolleyes: I have been on the recieving end of many good shots not knowing where the round come from, and the only crack i have heard was a broken bone as my toon fell limp to the floor. >:( As frustrating and painful as pulling teeth it might be, knowing there is a patient mofo out there too lazy to do something more productive with their time... like cutting holes in their pockets so they have something to play withthey they then take a well aimed shot at a newbie trying to find their first meal. This is what keeps me coming back. Suspense followed by cursing myself for being reckless having to run back to the ellusive pot of gold, sometimes learning lessons along the way, honouring the "friendly, friendly" cries as I am hunkered up in a smelly chicken coup hoping my act of good will does not result in an axe between the shoulder blades or back of the skull. I do enjoy pvp regardless of the setting game, no matter how good we all think we are they is always someone better then us. At present I keep getting bumped by some die hard hero hiding away atop their well shaded feature surrounded by their crew. Hopefully this humanity score will equate into some form of reward / bounty for topping the highest ranked bandit.

In the spirit of realism could hats only to be worn during daylight hours? and removed during the night unless it's a beanie or balaklava. With the Cammo suits can we get giggle hats / bush hats on them with long sleeve shirts?

well I got geared up again, and low and behold another hacker. this time in two 4WD's. I emptied a magazine into the first vehicle killing the driver, then went after the second driver who got out with a M107 and blew me away without taking a site picture of me.... something really needs to be done and ARMA claiming that having free reign on scripting so devs can saboutage other mods is bullshit. Rocket and team, more needs to be done to protect your project. Do something about this FFS!

it is really a pointless exercise, until the hacking is prevented and security of the servers is re-established. Right as it stands I have gotten myself geared up three times with over 200 kills Zombie) only to be on a server as it was hacked. Why penalise the players who are doing the right thing and for no other reason then being on a server when it was hacked -last time It has happened to me was thismorning US 4445 approx 1030 am GMT +9.5 Character Parker Hale (if the Server admin can roll back the toon it would be sweet ;) )

Ever seen the movies "28 days" or "I am" ? Another Idea would be a hostile zombie free zones keeping all not from the town out as they are bandits or infected a xenophobic civilisation. Then depending on how well the server participates or reduces the zombie populace this population increases and starts hunting the survivors and bandits.

G'day guys, been playing this mod for two days now, after a friend of mine gave me a link to a you tube vide of Dr Kimber who we believe set sounds like Arnie! I was only waiting for him to yell out "GET TO THE CHOPPER" On a personal note my friends and I would love to thank the bandit running round the airfield last night with an axe you gave us all a splitting headache! Great fun,and scarier than a mother-in-law! Also good to see a level headed community too.
