sadly ur 100% correct.. this games community has become a cesspool of the lowest order. real shame, what could have been something truely special and original has become a simple DM fest, were 90%+ of the game/map are never used

that is what ive been saying all along.. there simply is no way around NOT having coded mechanics or zones that specify game play. if you leave it to the players u end up with the lowest form of gameplay by the lowest form of players.. greivers ruin every game that allows them to ruin.. there is a reason why every game with PVE/PVP mixed together has rules/coding... because it HAS to ...

no time to talk, to busy CoDing...

on this part we can agree.. finding guns and gear to PVP with is entirely to easy once u learn the map/spawns. thre really is no sence of struggle or alone in the Zombie apoc. feel to SA atm. you see/run into people far to often and usualy everyone has all the stuff they would want/need. basicly just running around at that point looking for targets of opportunity.

typical KoSer attitude.. what ? they might add content for a playstyle that isnt KoS ? oh oh better poo poo that idea... news flash there is room for ALL playstyles. not everything about DayZ needs to be focused on how to get your kill count higher/faster.

cant u lay down underwater and drown ??? i was pretty sure (havent tested it yet), that u take underwater damage now.

thats cool you enjoyed it.. but ill still play my way thanks... tpv or fpv has the same tension for me..theres enuf places on the map at an given time for players to hide in that the camera alone isnt going to make me feel safe or not.

your character will be on whateva server it was on... if that server switchs to FPV view then u'll be stuck in that view. if the server stays TPV, you'll continue as usual..

you dont... its something that was removed from the options to make everyone play a level field... in the mod people would change up options to try to make it easier to spot players at a distance.

cept they are never going to remove 3rd person.. once they open the seperate hive for FPV that will be the end of discussion.. least until those FPV servers empty out, cuz there just arent enuf people who actualy like it, and soon everyone is back to the TPV servers..

i predict less then a month before the 1st person servers empty out again...
