enjoy the crawling.. it might be faster to crawl somewere that you know and can get back to quickly/easily. draw Zombels to you... then run beach to your corpse from the beach. if its worth the effort..sometiems its better to just start over and enjoy the excitment of being a fresh spawn again.

Haha, and just like that its all over... tried hiding in a barn, but when i ran in there some Zombels spawned right inside with me, and broke my leg AGAIN.. 2X times in 2 nites.. getting to be a habit, haahah... ohwell off to the beach with me.

ah yea i only have shakes.. no coughing.. i have 1 set of painpills, didnt wanan risk usign em if they didnt work. i'll try the fire first.

i lost my longest character to a ladder/stair glitch last nite.. lukily i to was able to recover my gear from my corpse by crawling to a safe bush before attracting teh Z's to finish me off.. the animation of my char running off teh top floor instead of crouching down the stairs was hilarous.. when i was in midiar i was already saying "fukoff".. cuz i knew what was coming.. sure enuf.. CRACK, broken legs..

personaly i think Zeds need to have their pathing AI to the sound of a single shot looked at.. if someone bangs off a bunch of rounds it should be easy for the Zeds to source in on the location, but when you fire off a single round, the entire areas worth of Z's shouldnt have a laser guided beacon to your prone ass hiding in the weeds.. its kinda lame really.. 1 well placed shot, should only bring a couple of Zeds from the immediate area only

Zombels is another bit of slang for the Zeds.. so add that to your list aswell..

be prepared to die ALOT.. its ok, it allows you to experiene many of the facets of DayZ. dont sweat it.. dont be surprized if you get popped by PK players even as a noob, lots of people will kill you just cuz you exist, try not to let it get you raging. even if you have nothing on you.

my longest lasted character died tonite aswell.. fell victim to a staircase glitch and and ended up looking like i did a running jump down to the floor below instead of crouching down teh stairs.. landed and broke my legs. alas no supplies to fix teh leg, so i crawled my way to a location i knew i could find again to accept my fate. then whilst laying in the wet grass i fired the "dinner bell".. sure enuf plenty of Zombels came to fill up... suked having to die to a glitch but ohwell.. on a sidenote i spawned and ran back to my body (which was still there untouched in a thick bush) and grabbed all my gear. now back to business.. time to find some shelter and prepare for another day in Zombie hell tomorow.

this might be true when you've played for awhile, but when your a noob Zombies are a REAL threat.. they still are to me..

sandbox exploration..and in a weird sort of way the permadeath mechanic that makes everything you do have real reactions.. i dont PK, but the fact that erevytime i login, might be my characters last. ps ima RP player, so i take my characters life as seriously as my own (when in game)

if theres one thing you'll learn as a noob here quickly its that the community by enlarge doesnt care.. its one of the worst self-serving games i've ever experienced most fledgling games try to nurture new players in, so they stick around to try to make the overall community bigger.. not here, its more like hey this is my beach, now fuck off...sniper round to the face. !!! it def. sucks being spawn killed, when your just trying to figure out how to even move/play..

i only ever tend to login to servers in full pitch black.. sorry its just no fun at all.. insta log.. give me daylight everytime, even if it is busier/riskier.. i play this game for the visual stimulation aswell as the overall game experience, playing at night is simply to unintersting. ps on a sidenote, how teh hell do you use a chemlight ??? i tried everything but so far unable to figure it out.. cant even throw teh dam thing.. i only seem to be able to drop it or put it in my pack..

is there some place offical that lists the difference ?? cuz ive played on recruit servers, with no 3DP and no crosshairs, but also played on VET servers that had those options.. is the whole recruit-vet setting just something left over from the ARMAII engine ?? are Zs easier or harder to kill depending on the "grade" of server ??? guess im just a noob whos unsure which servers i should be filtering out or playing on for what im looking for.. basicly i wanna find server that make playing the game as easy as possible (like thats possible in DayZ), but dont wanna be easier sniper bait then i have to be.. i dont PVP, but i accept that i could be poped anytime when out in the open exploring.. i just dont wanna give that player any additional info then necc. such as that nametag/range thingy.. thx in advance

that is some good tips.. maybe keep an eye on updating at as the game moves along in case places change in terms of action..

personaly i feel zombies along the coast should be easier to avoid, making the life of a noob a touch easier to get ahold of the game.. then ramp up the Zombies AI as you go inland.. that should keep everyone happy, and enjoying the game.

if you get teleported, dont be afraid to disconnect instantly.. screw the hackers out of a easy kill.. log into a different server.. sadly right now Hacking is rampant, cuz its been stated the mod defvs cant stop it.. once word of that spread its like wildfire, now hacking has become a serious issue, instead of a rare happening..

in a round about way it is kinda ironic.. while not really the same thing, like teleports and such, but Hackers using means to get an advantage over a vet, is pretty similar to a vet sniping a coastal spawn with his single bandage in his pack.. both are incredibly LAME!!!

just looted a Barn that had EVERY possible SINGLE loot-spawn point containing a red hatchet.. how can that even possibly happen ??? talk about bad luck.. nothing else.. food n drink continue to elude me.. /lesigh!!!

agreed, the new Zombie AI is wayy to hard.. i like a good zombie fear game as much as the next, but when Zeds can spot you across the godam map, somethign is wacky.. just earlier i logged in (at edge of a Forest i might add), and before i could take in my surroundings a Zombie was already hi-tailing it across a farmers field up the hillside for me.. come on..
