just as i suspected.. considering how many times fresh spawns/noobs are getting popped, basicly no one has fessed up and admited to doing it.. typical.. i guess all those deaths must be from sheer fright. /facepalm.

Dreygar you sound like you play similar to me.. try to keep in mind if your simply trying to surivive the Apoc. you DONT need to go anywere near the Army type areas.. get yourself a decent pistol (personaly i dont even use one) and a winchester.. get teh tools needed to gut/cook ur own food. and stick to small towns/barns.. ive had my most fun lives by living off the land and exploring (slowly) areas that are both remote and not likely to be a boon for PVP greivers.. going to military areas is gunna make you a target for sure.. even if your just there to explore/gather, the PVP crowd will shoot you on sight. its kind of a expected free-fire zone. even teh Belota airfield area is something i avoid like the plague.. on a fresh spawn try to raid Elec. or cherno for basics as fast as you can (you have nothing to lose at this point) then head for the forest. but dont forget some morphine sticks..(not having morphine can be a life taker out of teh blue). GL hope you stick with it, and try not to let the deaths get to ya.

thats a perfectly accaptable way to play in front of noobs.. this way both parties get the message and both get out of the meeting what is needed, either a helping hand or they both go their seperate ways.. i tip my hat to you sir..oh and my beans

no what he said was to head up north and fight were the PVPers fight.. not hang around the noob spawn points were you dam well know people wont have gear or usualy a weapon at all. NOTHING you do in game currently is worthy of bragging about until you can survive among the true pvpers... the prize for killing carebears and frwesh spawns isnt even a bobbie prize.. its no prize at all really.. not even a weak golf clap

yea your seriously being a douchebag in game.. who knows how many new players may have uninstalled the game after being killed over and over while just trying to get used to the first few minutes of the game.. your a real HERO !!!.. people like you are whats caused the state of the community here to tumble almost as quick as the hacker problem..

i cant get near Cherno on any server and not hear gunfire.. your a lucky SOB to find a empty Cherno.. wish i could..im tired of getting popped by the fukn griever PVP community who have nothing better to do then snipe fresh beach spawns. (yes i was one just now and got popped yet again by some douchebag ghillie suited prick)... hope he really enjoyed that single bandage i had after running for 20 mins to get to cherno..

so really your saying, "just once i want to see a retail company develop a game, and purposely try to loss more money by appealing only to the smallest possible market as possible".. frree MOD, totaly understand the dev. thinking like this, but when you switch to a retail product that some actual Game studio is fronting the costs for. sorry, just dont think that has a snowballs chance in hell of becoming what happens here.. BI took this on, cuz they opbviously see the potential for this game to be huge, not to risk hoping it sells a few thousand copies to the ultra hardcore PVP crowd

do you mean within the city or on the areas leading into and away from each city ??? i find Cherno has more PVP players sittign around wating for victims then Electro, speaking within the city itself

so you admit you want the non-PVP lambs to stick around, so your not surrounded by only players who actualy want to PVP ??? yea i thought so.. basicly that boils down to wanting easy targets to hunt.. why would you NOT want to be surrounded only by other players who wanted to PVP ??? oh right, cuz then there would actualy be a field of competition, instead of easy-mode...

i find the winchester is about the best combo of stopping power/quiet for dealing with zombels... if your looking for a single shot solution..i also like the Enfield but its quite abit louder.

agreed, this is a great idea.. as mentioned it removes the need to sit there like a R'tard and watch the loading screen like a hawk.

im a total carebear PVE player, and even i dont want DayZ to become a theme park game ala woW.. this game is all about making your OWN content (similar to Eve-online in a way)... if you are easily bored, then this game will run out of steam for you VERY quickly..

personaly i think teh rate of broken leg from Zeds needs a closer looksee.. seems to me it happens WAY to often, even if your well above 10K blood. lost another character to it YET again tonite.. ohwell start over again time. basicly if you dont have morphine sticks on you (at least 3) at any given time your really playing with fire in this game. i dont mind dieing to any number of circumstances but being at basicly full Blood, getting smacked to the ground by a single zombie hit then basicly having to write my toon of really blows. maybe if the leg breakage math is good enuf to Rocket, perhaps the Morphine loot table drop areas needs looking at.

umm all those posts are ages old compared to the short life span of dayZ and certainly before the standalone got officaly announced.. like i said before, when he was in charge of a fre mod, that hardline stance made total sence.. but when you switch to a retail release being suporrted by a outside company (BI) then theres no way he's gunna be allowed to keep final say on everything thats in game or not.. at the end of theday hes become a employee of BI, not the other way round.

it would also prevent you from retrieiving your corpse if you got DC'd and died..

do you mean change your face or something ?? if so then yes you continue with changed face next time you login.. no respawn .. i did it awhile back, so unless something has changed ur fine...
