^^^this guy gets it ^^^ hell no to humanity resets.. Bandits would total take advantage of having a fresh skin upon every death if that were the case.. as mentioned above, you took the time to earn that anti-humanity, now you get to live with it..

i think those zero pop. servers are glitched out.. i beleive thats why no ones on them...

its funny how the PVP crowd cant undertstand that some people can enjoy DayZ without having to kill other players.. ps. ive been here less time then you (2months or so maybe 3) but i havent killed another soul yet either..

its funny how this generation thinks if they say "sorry" then the slate should be wiped clean and its ok to start over.. sorry, but you knew exactly what you were trying to do, ie: cheating. now you deal with it.. maybe in the next game you wont be so easily tempted to cheat..

make the server versions match your install versions thats the best way to minimize weird bugs like that upon loading

why combatlog if ur gunna return to the same server moments later.. what exactly do you thjnk would happen when u return? ?

dont play lingor island then.. its fullon CoD deathmatch here.. i thought cherna. was shoot on sight. christ Lingor is w ayyy worse

weid, i keep hearing this is an issue, but ive never had a pack go missing whilst equipping camo or ghillies.. course now that ive said it im sure my pack will go poof next time, hhah

i dont understand the need to stop playing due to hackers ? sure ive died to them plenty aswell as folly deaths and other hilarity, but its not gunna stop me from playing. i'll just switch servers (if hackers are an issue server wide) and begin the gear hunt again. to the OP all i can say is stop getting attached to your gear. its the single biggest thing you need to learn about DayZ.. if you cant stand to lose the gear and start over, you'll never enjoy this (game/mod/alpha/whateva it is curently)

what ive noticed is if you DONT remove your sight from the animal it will stick around, but if you swing your vision so the animal isnt on screen, theres a VERY good chance it will despawn. sometimes ive had to stay zoomed in on a cow across a huge area cuz i needed that meat and didnt wanna risk losing the animal, even more so then i was afraid of being spotted while running zoomed, hahaah

Winchester... seriously.. easy to find and bullets come up quite often. does everything you need to survive quite well.

Winchester.. simple/efective and rounds are (usualy) easy to find. mind you i DONT PVP thou.

rule #1 do not talk about green mtn.

i find the low pop low ping (sub 25) servers load deceently.. anything else and the wait times usualy extend beyond my patience level

this is the internet.. if you allow the tools for someone to grieve, beleive me they will.. as Dayz has proven over and over again. if you allow a no rules gameplay, people will find ways to break even those rules.. its why games have to be designed with rules.. sadly the general populace (esp. on the open internet) can NOt be trusted to self police. so in short a big HELL NO to this idea.

GL, but i predict some lamers will come along and spoil your party..

when i did my install i started with DLin Arma II and the OA DLC. ran both, as in actualy started both games in single player to ensure all teh files were up and running.. then DL'd dayZ comder, and simply let it DL everything else all by itself. not sure what you havent done or are missing.. must admit i was REAL leary about buying ARMA II just for Dayz , cuz it seemed harder to install then i figured i could deal with. but dayZ cmder made it painless and hyper simple. perhaps you can uninstall everything and start over ????

of all the things in the alpha that need attention, you pick this ??? seriously ?? wow...

do they show up in proggy's like dayZ cmder ?? if not then thats prolly why.. i'd consider playing one for sure, but i have no idea how you connect to one, as i only ever use dayz cmder or six launcher

i ejected off a dirtbike the other day and the bike slide across the ground on its side, with the engine still running.. when i tried to get back on it, it continued to try to operate on its side.. ended up leaving it there .. thats the next poor bastards problem, and with no gas to boot, hahaha

as stated above play on low pop Veteran servers , with 3rd person on and nametage OFF.. this will cut down on your chance to run into grievers who'll pop you just cuz they saw you.. as for people who poopoo on PVE servers, dont worry about them, narrowminded people are everywere.. hopefully the standalone does have more "options" for playstyles within this sandbox then this mod currently allows.
