the ONLY problem i see is the utter lack of Zombies in the pics.. otherwise those capture the mood of Cherna. perfectly.

so ur idea is that basicly everytime u get hit by a Zed. its a restart for your character ? how exactly would that be fun ??? sorry but that idea suks.

to many to count.. most are a result of the super secret 1-shot KO hit.. but i have been trapped with low ammo, and left to bleed out. but honestly most of my deaths have been results of sciddies or weird game bugs, like clipping into floors or doors breaking bones and such. interspersed with some PVP deaths..

bu tdo they match with my Zombie outfit.. thats the most important issue here clearly, haahah

why didnt u just shotgun him from distance.. that would have ruined him, and most likely either killed him outrite or put him into shock.

its a bug... it happens. it has nothing to do with the server.. while it does suk, theres isnt anything you can do. its just a shitty thing u need to move on and start over.

yea its really become as bad as ever, if not worse.. dont know if its web traffic or what.. but godam it can be brutal trying to see threads, alot of time they timeout or load half-in

\umm how bout you play on any of the 1000's of servers that are full open PVP, and stop worrying about how a single non-open PVP server is run.. typical douchebag response.." its open PVP all the timez, L2P".. typical indeed

my live off the land old dude who is hide like a-rabbit master 5000, i beleive is 40+days. most if not all my other toons are less then a day. think i have a Lingor toon at about 20 days (but i havent played him recently)

considering you prolly wouldnt make it to the top to even start.. what would be the point. unless you server hopped up there via low pop server. then i could see this working briefly.

i doubt it, i think DayZ is aimed more at the douchebag crowd by way of rockets complete lack of rules in game. im not 100% certain, but i dont think Warz is aiming to have the same mindset. personaly i plan to play both Warz and DayZ SA, whichever one caters to my non-PVP play style better will be the one i call home. im not really flustered which one it ends up being tbh.

for the most part its the players who snipe noobs from hidden positions with sniper rifles are the very same players who wouldnt hold a candle at a proper PVP fest at the military spawn points.. thats why they Alt-F4.. lame players are lame.. they just wanna press that "i win" button till it wont work anymore then when under fire they will exit game. /sigh.. i may not be a PVP player, but at least have the decency to stay in game if you open fire on someone..for me personaly when i take fire (since i never open fire on players) i'll rabbit like a mofo. in fact i had a couple of great rabbit sessions this weekend on Takistan and Panthera.. both times said sniper missed me several times and was unable to find my hidy-hole.. good times indeed.

this sadly is the state of the DayZ community now.. reduced to killing players on site, out of boredom.. /facepalm.. oh what could have been epic has been reduced to "for the lulz"... /sigh

sadly im gunna disagree with you here.. based on what ive seen/heard from Rocket and given that from what the community of DayZ has become, i think the SA will be exactly like what we see now.. just on huge deathmatch arena were the very idea of COOP is only for those within clans/groups. if ur alone and play by yourself mostly if not always then i suspect you will always be starting over at every player encounter or reduced to playing on low pop. servers. its a dam shame this experiment has become what it has, but i dont see any way for it to change unless Rocket ad's some kind of rules to calm the KoS situation down. but i have zero faith he will.. chances are the DayZ SA will fizzle out quickly when players pick it up and realize its no different then the current Mod is. in terms of player encounters. hope to hell im wrong but i just dont think i am. not on this

i cant say until i play the SA.. if the game has changes i dotn like or maybe things i expected that arent there. i very well may play the Mod instead. but if the SA is everything it should be i'll simply switch over fulltime and look back on the mod as a starting area for the SA. i doubt i'll even kill off my many characters across all the random maps/hives i have ongoing.. i'll simply restart a SA character and go from there.. in a RP sort of way i guess my Mod characters went on to live out their dayZ.. hahaah

saw it on Steam, was a blurb about it on the ARMA II page, when ARMA II was on sale. it first i did some research cuz i didnt wanna buy ARMA, if i couldnt get DayZ to work. lukily by then dayZcmder was out.. its been golden since then.. im a HUGE fanboi of dayzCmder, i could care less for the antics of some of the haters out there recently.

basicly what you see on offical hive servers is what you'll get till standalone.. and im fine with that.. theres plenty of fresh maps coming out in the meantime to keep my mind off the lack of updates to Cherna.

so there are other players just like me.. have my beans sir. ps when i get bored of surviving i go LeeRoy jenkins into a town and see what happens.. usualy ends up with me respawning on the beach cuz i dont PVP..

so i load up DayZcmder and see theres a new ARMA patch.. DL it and now i cant join or play any version of DayZ. offical or Vilayer or anything. get a battleye error: you were kicked off the game for unknown game version.. i thought all ARMA patchs were backwards compatible ??? do i need to revert back to my earlier arma version or something ?
