I'm uh, a bit lost on what to say here. I had been on US 172 quite a lot throughout the last week, as we'd set up camp on the server, so it's a bit disheartening to get banned for what seems to be no reason. More to the point, though. I'd been playing on US172 earlier, showing my brother the game by sniping on the NE Airfield (I'm an ass, thats not the point). I had to log off after my first kill, though (his name had a snail in it, maybe admin?). I came back after an hour and logged back into US172 to find out that the game had teleported me back to the south coast. And that being a full server, I jumped off and went to a less populated one to make the trek back. There was a break like half way up, where I switched back to the US172 and continued on. After maybe 10 minutes, I was treated with the message of "You were kicked off the game. (BattleEye: Banned (Cheating/Hacking))". I'm inclined to believe that the ban was either out of spite for that guy I had killed (unlikely as it had been at least an hour later) or a mistake =/. Not sure what kind of proof I can provide, but if there's any logs or anything to retrieve I'd gladly go find them. Server: US172 Hosted by: Quebec Community Playername: Fisty Time: ~12:30 (midnight) GMT -4 PS: You may want to add a sticky thread outlining the format for ban appeals, it'd make writing this easier and reading it a lot less convoluted. EDIT: Not sure if it makes any difference but I've been having Warning messages about something.cfg being missing ever since I installed DayZ, I'm very new to Arma II engine so I wasn't sure if that was intended or if it was a bug with DayZ but it allowed me to continue so I did. Anyway I've been playing on another server since sending the message and after disconnecting and looking for a more populated one I couldn't start the game at all (I don't remember the message but I'm reinstalling Arma 2 in it's entirety now). Perhaps this was the reason for my ban, I'm not sure.
