Survive bandit attempts to kill me and avoid death via zed. Living in the north originally with an ak-74 and mp5sd. Now have an m-14 aim with the ak-74. Just been doing it alone so far so I try not to meet anyone and I'm pretty content with only seeing Zeds and little rabbits that like to run by me. Love the woods and getting the full view of each town before I need some needed loot.

Could this be because of server resets and your progress made is deleted and somehow keep your gear?

I understand what you are saying. If I wanted to gather firewood and not drop my pistol while doing so would be great. Haven't started a fire yet but I don't want to have to worry about loosingy inventory while making a fire

I have been having fps problems. My setting I have changed from this video I saw and I still seem to have problems. They are fine once I get into the woods and my frame rate is at like 35 or so. Then when I hit the city I go as low as 9.....Very frustrating and wondering if anyone has any ideas since I am a noob with all of this...

My monitor is 23" and has a max res of 1680x1050

Thanks andu12. I had a feeling it was the vid card. Only one time I hit 60, well 62 to be exact in a server. Plus it was at night with low players. I have those in-game settings set like you said and I haven't had a really bad problem but it stayed around 20-30. My birthday is next week so I'll save up for something good. I think my power supply currently is 450 Watts. Had that put in along with the 9800gt. I want something good but a decent price and if avoidable I don't want to have to get another power supply. Any suggestions? And something that will last for a while? I know computer stuff gets out dated fast. Thanks for the tips sapulidi

Nothing is worse than having it be choppy when you are worried about firing back at bandits and being on target before getting killed.

Cool vid guys

When you spawn and hit the w key to move your character should walk at a decent pace. If you double tap the w key you should full out sprint. If you want to move differently double tap "shift" and now in order to run you use "w" + "shift" to sprint. This is the same for crouching and prone crawling. If you just use the w key you will walk slower and move slower in crounch and prone. Hope this helps?

I had a time where there was a hacker, didn't see him but k we it was a hack. Ran from this zombie and lost him around a corner. Then stumbled upon a dead guy. Knowing I was most likely being watched I quickly looted his pack. Before I could see the next building I wanted, my character started dancing? I watched for a bit because I was like wtf, never heard of this. I backed out before I was killed because the zombie I evaded was right around the corner. Close call but I'm guessing that's how the dead survivor was killed. Dancing til zombies ate him alive lol

This is what I am running HP model: m8530f Processor: AMD phenom 9550 quad core 2.20 Ghz Ram: 5gb System type: 64-bit operating system Video card: GeForce 9800 gt. (this video card was bought later than my CPU purchase in order to run COD blackops when it came out) I know a better video card would help in the fact of looking better but I would rather have a better frame rate and smoother play.

I read a few and changed some things around. I also noticed when I went to my Nvidia card it shows the list of games and if it can handle it or not. Arma 2 listed as fair so my video card could use some improvements. Want to buy a new one. GeForce 9800gt. Don't have my CPU specs because I'm not home. Will post them when I can

All I can say is be careful who to trust about getting transfusions from. I was at 4000 blood and heard shots so I was running and ran into two people. They didn't shoot me on site and we ran into a barn in some town. I offered my cz in return for a transfusion. I dropped the blood bag for them to use and guess what happened? I was murdered in cold blood! I am not a bandit and it makes you think twice about asking who is friendly near by to assist you.

The only time I murdered someone was in self defense. I ran into three friendlys in elektro. Was afraid at first and was aiming down sights with 1911. When they came in building I was in I attempted to run away after hearing they were friendly. Didn't wanna loose my 1911/lee. So I ran to the fire station. There I saw two people climbing the ladder. When I asked who was climbing the ladder I heard one say hurry up climb. I knew there they were bandits. Reassuring myself the friendlys told me they were getting shit at. So with three-four Zelds on my tail I ran around the building watching the bandits watch me. Went back to the previous building and saw the friendlys in the hospital. So my curiosity in the end got me killed. After hearing the friendlys were heading to the coast I stayed back and was waiting for these bandits. One showed up on the roof and my stupid self did ingame voice asking if the friendlys wanted me to kill him. He heard me and crawled back and hid. So I waited and someone appeared on the open roof top looking down at the road. Took out the lee and aimed just below his neck and fired. Instant kill! I was pumped! First murder and in defense out of fear of my death. So then I wanted his gear, or at least see what he had. When I ran outside to get there I got lit up and just as I made it behind a corner I fell and was killed. Next time I will have more patience. I should have known there was more but wanted to move too soon.

I have been having issues with frame rate also. I would get as low as 9 in cities especially Cherno. But I read that it all depends on the server you are in. I wish I could keep above 60 fps but I'm happy I can play. I looked up what should be my settings for the Nvidia and changed them accordingly. And messed with my in-game settings and achieved the 60 fps in a server. But it was a low pop server which could have been a factor. I have a GeForce 9800gt and it shows arma 2 running as fair with my card. Would like a better card but funds are tight:-/

I tried finding my files but they arent there and dont know where to look. Downloaded the game through gamestop via giftcard. Any suggestions. Already searched the computer and nothing
