Well actually, what is everyone's brightness/gamma settings? Mine is just at 1.0, imagine quite a few others have the same. A balance NEEDS to be struck. yes realistic, but we actually want to PLAY the game. In real life we tend to need to open cans with can openers, do we have that on this game? No, because it would actually be annoying and too intrusive. There's an obvious limit on the realism before it becomes too much. Right now, night could do with turning up in regards to darkness, because it's obviously intrusive or there wouldn't be so many people searching for daylight servers at night. Just wish Rocket would finally comment on this issue before introducing new ones, like temperature systems >_> Chemlights suck too, horrible source of light. -

Honestly, the only reason I like third person is because it just feels nice. Plus when I'm running all over the place in the country side I like to see more than just a gun. It's going to be even better when you can see yourself with your new skin. Besides, while you don't get the shakes on your screen (maybe you should) in third person, but I'll still sure your aim is affected anyways, as I believe I've seen my small cursor in the middle of my crosshair shaking. Have to properly check next time though. But yes, it's useful for seeing around corners, but I just justify that by being slightly limited by the games mechanics and overall restrictions. It also seems a lot more free and you're able to see more in real life than you do in FPV on this game, so it feels even more restrictive than it should be. Hoping third person stays though, it's nice, refreshing and vain lol.

So, does it actually fix zombie teleporting? They killed me through a wall and by phasing through crates once. We need something that also fixes zombies seeing you through closed doors. -

Temperature system hopefully will be adjusted, and soon. It shouldn't be another meter to constantly watch out for because it just magically drops, no matter what you're doing. What about whether it's day, whether it's dry, sunny, whether you're running? It should go UP depending on these things, surely. Even when it's not sunny and totally dry and cloudy, normal people can y'know, actually survive outside for a long time without needing so much warmth =_= Probably mentioned already but jeez, just make it happen so this feature isn't totally ridiculous. Yes, yes, I know it's an alpha. -

Where do you find the matches? In a house, a building. Not to mention, if this game could actually use shelves for items, they would most likely be on them, it's because of the game they're always on the floor, no other reason. Oh and while we're on the 'on the ground' point, stuff can fall off said shelves. -

Funny reading about the FPS and performance drops, when the inventory system was altered to boost performance... Then there's unrealistic issues with the temperature system (what a surprise) Hope another hotfix is released soon (asap), as this sounds ridiculous and reasonably game breaking.

Liking the suggestions in this thread, hoping they get taken on board. i.e. collecting wood from the floor, from piles that spawn. Hatchet idea? Maybe that should be optional, you can get one and you CAN cut down trees for wood if you want loads, but it's not the ONLY way as you can get it from piles and from the ground etc. Again, not keen on the idea of another slot being used in the inventory just because you can't for some reason use wood from the ground or around you. Maybe the skins that will be added should also maintain your temperature too? -

Just need another way to find out someone's humanity is all, seeing how this is supposed to be realistic but we can't properly tell by someone's body language, attitude (to an extent), facial expressions and wear and tear of their clothing. Still think if we get close enough, we should be able have the option to 'Study Player' which allows us JUST to examine their humanity rating be it through numbers or a description something along the lines of 'This person seems to have quite a bit of blood on their hands and clothing, they seem edgy and their eyes are keen to look at your gear', even though my example is a bit assuming. Definitely need a solid alternative though. -

Can't say I'm looking forward to another inventory space being taken up by a blasted hatchet either when it's not that difficult to find general pieces of wood without one when you look around >_> Hoping Rocket comes to his senses. -

Anyone able to explain to me how performance was lost using the scroll option, and where? Was it when you were actually scrolling? I never experienced loss, ever, so I have no idea why we don't have both either. Quick and functional. Edit: Checked a previous thread I asked this question in, here's the answer. Either way I'm wondering whether I'll notice the difference, as performance wasn't much of an issue. Still have to say, easy and functional, wasn't unnecessarily clunky.

Where was the performance loss exactly? When using the item? Seriously? I never ever got a performance hit when using a bandage, for example, or going to my gear menu. Or is it just a boosted overall game performance. If so, decent, never knew such a thing could cause a performance hit across the whole game. Have yet to try out this new system but... The previous system was quite, efficient and easy to use, even though you couldn't really choose whether you wanted to drink coke or your bottled water.

Yeah, bit of an OTT screaming moment, feel sorry for your friend on the other end. Worse than a girl :S Maybe shooting the zombies coming up the ladder might've helped. Laughed more at the zombies sounds of death (like I always do) than the actual vid.

Maybe the zombie respawn timers haven't properly been fixed. x_X maybe they've been decreased in time to respawn instead by accident D: Though I've had similar situations like this recently and earlier today, nearly had 70+ kills in a short space of time, they just keep coming and coming, respawning and respawning, and that was just with only a Winchester being used. Have yet to see what it's like with the patch.
