i agree with some of the sentiments of the OP. I think this game has a really cool forumula that hopefully companies like bethesda will rip off of and make a game like this set in the fallout universe where its actually hard to surive and be a consistant world in which multiplayer can get down, + quests n such. but untill then we have to deal with this. To me this games genre is in its infancy theres some really cool stealable ideas this game has and its only a matter of time till some other company makes it great. i also played ultima online i was on one of the german shards, tho when i was playin it i didnt have a fkin clue what i was doin, id just get lost in the forest lol and get raped by a lizardman. this game lacks the force to drive the player to do something that isnt PvP, as its a sandbox game, except theres no sand just a mass of players on a lifeless map that spawns zombies without any goals except to, kill other players or log off from sheer boredom. the game requires some aspect that will motivate the player to do or achieve something other than repairing vehicles to horde in a forest or shooting people on a hill in elektro I did my first game of sniper hill today, i got this probably hacked in guy as50TWS it was pretty enjoyable tbh.

How the fuck some people can survive on public servers longer than 3 days is a fucking mystery to me, how the fuck do u do it? I havent been legit killed yet for about 3 weeks. every single time i die, its either the appearing turd spawning behind me, or some other hacking bullshit. Oh actually I did die that one time legitly, if by legitly you consider getting raped by a 3ft drop. Fuck this game, end rant.

Yes but I don't see why I have to have a gang of bitches with me to survive. I'm a joe casual player and don't really play hardcore enough to have ongoing friends to play with and to dupe gear with. And most people Ive met on this game the first clan i found were a bunch of hacking turds, the second were just fuking around in tents duping stuff 24/7. The third is just me rolling around with some other guy in his car looking for vehicles and other camps. I just want to play on my own without having to worry about getting my gear raped off me by some cheating bitch. Yes i know the game is alot easier with a group. And as to the post above mine, I'm getting shot in the back by someone appearing behind me, hes not crouched on teh floor, hes just straight up appearing

Yeah it happens ALOT. Thats what they do, they spawn up behind u, and shoot u in the back, its the easy gratification death match that is the current hackers meta. Port to player...kill player... mad skillz, repeat...

This game is so fucking ludicrously favourable to the players that roam in packs its fucking crazy. Single player, low on life? binge eat 12 steaks. In a group? low on life? get a transfusion no problem Single player, got killed? well too bad fukhead back to the coast with you. In a group, got killed? I bought this up in another thread, don't you think that if it was possible to spawn anywhere on the map when you start a newspawn it would change the dynamic of the game for the better? As the need to go to Cherno or Elektro will be diminished as you will not be spawned in on the coast as much, which also eliminates the sniper camp fest going on? So instead of spawning somewhere on teh coast you'd maybe spawn at Novy Sobor, or anywhere else on the map.

zombies are not pack animals, the term pack is like, no no no. zombies i assume are just totally mental and have an insatiable desire to consume human flesh. has there been discussion as to the origin of the zombies in dayz, is it infection or a by product of some crazy bomb.

Yes but cherno and elektro are the most localised areas in relation to the current spawns. That second point isnt really that valid considering how i read on these forums so much about "i can get an as50 in 10 minutes"

You could configure it so that you spawn in a certain X radius from a super market, theres also some shitty spawns in kamenka too yet we still deal with it

Yeah but everyone complains about this game being a cherno elektro camp fest including myself surely just changing the spawn points so u can spawn anywhere on the map would be a pretty simple soloution?
