Ok, I thought this game was going to be amazing single player going maverick feeding off the land that kind of stuff. I was like uuuh thats a really big map I can't wait to go out there and explore it. But da'doi! sorry buddy you can't explore the map because everytime you decide to log out and take a break and log back in to a different server (so fukin what), your entire progress has been completely cut which basically forces players like me who can't play for 10 hours straight to just have to sit around looting the same coastal area, because whats the point of any northern exploration now? Since you'll be reset everytime. The game has become totally disjointed now. Also, seriously don't bother making anymore patches for this game unless it fixes the 2 biggest issues. The texture popping; oh look this place looks interesting! military base mmm, oh too bad bro i mean you can go in here but its going to be like a fucking stanley kubrick film for the next 40 minutes. The progress reset in relation to where you are on the map. Oh golly i do love having my position in the game world constantly reset, really makes me want to explore and savour my progress. Is that a new implementation? It never used to be like that, good job implementing shit that actually makes the game worse. Fantastic.

Hey guys! So, in the next patch for me there's only two things I'd love to see implemented. Loading screens that actually give you information, for example ive been in this load screen for a game in Day-Z for the past 20 minutes, it would be great if it gave some information as to what its loading, or information when it gets stuck in an infinite loop etc. My second thing i'd love to see in the next patch is a fix for the texture popping in specific areas. The area's for me i get issues are any military installation. I heard someone say that its the corpses of army personell that cause the textures going nutts. Can't you just take the bodies out? Anyway, whats some of the things you'd like to see in upcomming patches??

For a extra bit of realism, i know this is waaay outside the box here, but maybe u shud be able to pro-create and get a little AI bot as a kid

Hey how about we get some loading screens that either give a percentage complete or some kind of information as to what their doing Because I dont get how 1 game can have that many load screens. And then finally you get that last load screen which is Loading... literally i let it load and did something else for 2 hours. I came back and its still Loading...

Hi there forumz, i recently made a thread about how Dayz is crap cos the engine and stuff. But I slightly rescind my crapping out on it, as the recent update has made the game from unplayable to semi playable. And it's been great so far! However I, Im sure we've all seen this thread again, but, i was like crawling around this place with aload of red cross tents and some serious road kill going along the road near it. And im climbing up a ladder after sneeking past a tonne of zombies, i was actually marvelling at my own stealthyiness, i mean yeah granted it took me 30 mins to crawl all the way here but hey man its worth it. Infact in one of the tents theres a stack of ak-47s and i cant pick them up, thats some serious cock teasing. Anyways so I'm climbing up this ladder, and i get shot in the back. WTF? I didn't do anything to this guy whats his problem. Don't call this realistic unless everyone playing this game is a raging psychopath and thats what they wud do in real life. I even loaded up as a chick skin so maybe people would go easy on me. So he shot me in the back, and probably looted my corpse which had, some flares. Also whats with the chat in the game? Theres no global IM chat? wtf. I like to play games like this as a lone wolf and i feel like as soon as i get bit i may aswell respawn cos of bloodpacks. I don't want friends in this game i want to be a lone wolf and i cant give a blood pack to myself so what the fk meng? /rant

Is that it's built on the ARMA engine. And when a developer does steal this idea which they inevitably will prepare for a mass exodus. Yeah you can say hurr stop whining its in Alpha, but let's face it, it'll be hindered by ARMAs crap system throttling engine forever. This game is brilliant too bad its being held back.

Try not to take everything I said as a blast at this game, like i said the concept and execution is great! its just marred by appalling engine its ok. Has huge potential as an MMO, its a literal cash cow waiting to get milked.
