I tend to stick to the north out of the populated cities unless there is something I really need, in fear of being shot by another player. I am looking to join a team and have a sense of security.

  3. Well i have been on DayZ for a few weeks now. The only real issue i have had is the game not using both of my cards fully, which results in low fps. The first time it happened i didn't think to check the usage of them through Afterburner. I only happened once then i forgot about it. Trying to join a server last night, it kept happened. I know something wasn't right because after being in game for about 10-15 minutes, usually both the gou's are around 45-48c under load. They were both only about 38c. I decided to check the GPU usage, and low and behold it was only at around 35% for both GPU's. It's not certain servers, it has happened randomly on a few that i frequent.

I have attached my dxdiag for reference, and also screenshots showing usage/fps/temps and what not. I will get usage screenshot when the fps aren't low.

    Thanks.

  4. Maybe i'm missing something, but i am trying to figure out how to tell difference between servers that do and don't show your location on the map. It seems a bit random to me. I thought it was the difference between regular/veteran servers, but i joined a few different regular servers and it was hit or miss and i couldn't figure out whether it was nametag display or what.

    thanks.
