With the success of DayZ I would really like to see more hardcore/survival games. What is the chance that we get survival games similar to DayZ but with there own twists? Also what would be the chance that they are actualy good? I feel like alot of people would try to rush rip offs for profit and not work passionately to make an awsome game. When I say similar I mean a survival simulation type game, not a zombie apocalypse game. One concept I would really like to see is a real world survival simulation where you are stranded somewhere in the wilderness (in a Desert, Jungle, or even an arctic tundra) with little to no supplies. Maybe you would start with a basic knife. The enemies would be normal predators and possibly other players (maybe it could have a single player and a multiplayer mode). To survive you would need to hunt animals by building basic traps that you make from either loot or natural ways, such as cutting down wood fletching it. I can't really think of a way to balance things now this is just an idea. While hunting neutral animals you would have to watch out for predators/players. As you explore you would come accross structures but not as often as you do in dayz obviously. Some structures for example would be abandoned campsites (that could be rigged with traps but have the best loot), Abandoned houses with advanced tools and resources. and small abandoned huts with basic tools resources. Basic resources/tools would be used to create traps for animals (could have more uses such as fishing rods,ladders,ropes, ect.). Advanced resources/tools could be used to create traps that can kill/injure other players and would be more effective on animals (exspecialy predators). Abandoned camps would contain anything the others have but they would also have high powered rifles/completed traps/food/water. Along with theese structures you have a small chance to find the bones of a hunter that could have weapons, food, water, traps, or tents on him. Theese would be similar to downed choppers but much less common. I have more details to add but I just wanted to put this out there now to see what you guys think.

watch some of his interviews and he talks about his plan for "endgame" additions beyond survival. But I don't see missions being implemented since it is supposed to be an authentic open world survival experience. What you are looking for could be implemented by modders though once the standalone game is out.

Which guns are the most rare? Found SVD camo and i'm pretty sure that's one of them, right?

I was browsing through the server list and saw one with "Always day" in the title, is that possible? or allowed? On a related note, I don't completely understand the day and night cycles on the servers. There were a few that had the same timezone as me and it was night even though it was the middle of the day. I was also wondering if there was any way to tell if a server is going to be day or night besides seeing the region?

The only times I have died so far consist of another player killing me (one killed me when i didn't after he logged in on me) and me being teleported to a killroom (happend for my first two deaths. Oh and one time i fell off of a building and broke my leg so i commited suicide. So I'm just looking for a non hostile group of people to play with. I also have teamspeak but i'm used to vent.
