Bumping this, so frustrating. My laptop is new too, exact same symptoms, thinking it could be something to do with my 4k res?

I have an Intel i5 2430 @2.4Ghz. In the wild and small towns, I'd get 20-25fps and in the cities, 10-15 usually. I'm thinking a new PC must be necessary.

Really?! Wtf... I've messed with my settings so much lol. Everything is disabled and 20 FPS in a city is amazing for me.

Just curious as it's running pretty chunky atm for me and I'm considering getting a better PC. My specs: GeForce GT 555M Intel Core i5-2430M @2.40GHz 8GB RAM 1600 x 900, 60Hz

What maps do you play on? I'm playing a lot of Taviana at the moment but I know Chernarus like the back of my hand also. I've had DayZ since June and besides a break in the middle of that time, I've been playing it since. I'm from Ireland, so the UK thing isnt a problem. I have a headset, so, again no problem there :P I'm 17 *tick* I have Teamspeak *tick* Annnd, I have way over 4 months experienceSo do I fit the bill :D if so I'll be playing tonight if ye're up for it :)

Im looking for some people to play DayZ with. I've gotten sick of being a lone wolf, and want some teammates I guess you could say lol. Had the game since June I think, but stopped playing for a few months but Im back playing again! I have plenty of experience in the game, I couldn't tell you how many hours I've played in total lol. I know Chernarus like the back of my hand, and since returning to the game, I've begun playing a lot of Taviana. Live in Ireland, so people in Ireland and the UK are what I'm looking for really. Im 17 btw. To be honest, I'm not too overly serious about the game when it comes to the tactical side of the game, but I do like a level of organisation too. I also like a decent laugh when playing too! Hope I fit the bill for other people lol. Hit me up if you want a teammate! :)
