    Possible solution to paranoid killing

    The intention of this isnt to identify bandits its simply to promote co-operation while keeping the mod as similar to its current situation as possible. For bandits it will be exactly the same as just now since everyone kills everyone for basically no reason anyway, and for survivors it will be exactly the same aswell when you hear gunshots you're still going to avoid the player firing and you're more than likely still going to get shot from building a couple of hundred yards away. The literal only difference is that it would stop players that want to play co-operatively from killing everyone on sight to survive. The whole bandit skin thing honestly would make no difference at all at this point in time, i've heard people complain that it takes away from the "con" aspect of the mod but there isnt one. Also lets be honest if you're a bandit and dont want to player kill for a while there would be nothing stopping a quick relog allthough that wouldnt stop you being shot at.

    as i mentioned in the post bandits would be able to kill and be killed by anyone including standard skinned players. yeh im sure the players who shot me loved the look of my invisable guns..... as for the real life yeh i wouldnt trust them but i wouldnt shoot them straight off the bat ethier, hell if nothing else they could make good zed bait!
  3. Hey this is my first post but i'll just get straight to the point. I love the mod but as many people have pointed out in the past there is far too much player killing in the game currently, but i peronsally believe that most of the current killings in game arent from banditry but from the paranoia of it. I've found that the only reason i've ever killed any other player in the game is out of the "if i dont kill him he will kill me" factor and frankly in this kind of survival situation that simply wouldnt be the mindset for most people. I apologise if this has allready been suggested but my suggestion is simply on login (not character creation) you choose ethier a standard skin or a bandit skin, bandits may kill and be killed by any player while as standard skinned players may not kill eachother but can still kill or be killed by bandits. The reasoning behind this is simply to identify other friendly players and increase the chance of cooperation while still keeping the other hostile player fear factor and stopping as i said before paranoid killing. This also allows people to log out and log back in into a bandit skin if they wish to player hunt. anyway i would like to hear other peoples opinions on this idea. cya in the apocalypse!
