Once upon a time I was 11 when I made my Xbox Gamer tag "HardCoreNinja7" then it switched to PC. I guess I was hard core at the time and ninja's were cool? I really don't know what was going through my head but I know why I put the 7 because 7 is my luck number. The end.

I do a decent amount of video editing, but I also do a lot of Photoshop. At the moment I don't know which one to get, have any specific brand or model recommendations? -

I've thought about it and I'm planning on getting one in the future but not in the time being. Anything else that you think I should upgrade? -
Good work! I know I have to do a little work on my management. After installing my new graphics card my two 6-pin cables were in the way of airflow. I wanted to put them behind my case; going out and going in to the card but they were way too short. And again good work!

It's about time but I finally got enough money to buy my new graphics card! The MSI Radeon 7870! Before it I had a 6670 and I got terrible frames. It wasn't bad at first for a low budget build but now after upgrading I'm happy I spent the $250 on it! Now instead of getting 35 -45 frames on low for Battlefield 3 I get 65 on Ultra! I also see a big difference in the way I play Arma/DayZ. I get way better frames in towns and cities, and it makes playing a whole ton easier when I'm trying to find and kill an enemy with good frames. Here are some pictures of the unboxing and what the card looks like. http://imgur.com/a/q5V2X#0

The 6670 isn't bad for the price though! I loved the performance I got out of it but it wasn't what I was looking for haha. It was also a while until I got the card, It took me forever to save up! Some computer parts aren't cheap!

Yes I had a big smile while taking those pictures :D

Well hello. I think it's about time to show my Photoshop work and even get some advice. If you would like to see all of my work just click the imgur link. Feedback is very appreciated! :D Link: http://imgur.com/a/L1NNK

I agree completely! At first I was terrible at Photoshop and after watching some tutorials I went from being a noob to a 'good photoshopper'.
-
Like the last posts said yes you have to make sure you have your RPM's right.
-
I've been playing around with Photoshop for about 4 months now. I watch a lot of training videos and professionals work and I've learned a lot over the time. After a while Photoshop becomes very easy to use.
-
Next picture I'll make sure to add tons of shiny metals and lens flares.. I got you Statik don't worry.
-
Haha, it's a long process but look up break text effect and there should be a tutorial on it. It would be way too long to type out in a post lol. And personally I like the break text without the flare more, it's easier to read the text :D

I've heard of a good ping and a bad ping.. But never a negative ping. Can that even happen?

Logitech G35's I've had them for 5 months now they are the best! Awesome sound quality, 7.1 surround sound, very adjustable, and comfortable! It's definitely worth the $130! I used to own a pair of X12's until they crapped out and I could only hear out of the right ear, and the mic didn't work. That's when I bought the G35's.

I also go by "Bambi" sometimes but those are people that have low end gear and a crappy gun. I freshly new spawned player to me is called a "New Spawn" or a "New Guy" I don't really have a good name about them but what ever. And lastly a player with high end gear, a good gun, and and maybe even a team I call depending on the clothes. Gillie Suit - "Bush Wookie" Regular Clothes - "Possible Friendly/Hostile" and finally Bandit Skin - "Bandit". I don't really have good names for these players but I think this thread and going along thinking about it will help me come up with new names.

I recommend the Logitech G35 headset. I've had it for 4 months now and I haven't had a problem yet. For me they are comfy, great sounding, and overall an awesome headset. The best I've owned yet! It's definitely worth the money! Link to the headset (Newegg): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104281

BUDGET PC UNDER $500 ARHH HELP!!
HardCoreNinja7 replied to jonno.cowie's topic in Technology/Programming
It's not IDE, it's SATA. And that drive is only for recorded videos and throwing completed torrents in it. I use my WD 1TB drive for OS, games, and misc. programs. -

Here are the 'specs' of my current gaming computer build. I would say it's a medium build and currently I'm saving up to buy a AMD Radeon 7870 HAWK. Other than that this build for me was the bang for my buck. And easy to upgrade off of. CASE > NZXT Source 210 'Black' ATX Mid Tower. MOTHERBOARD > Gigabyte GA-F2A85X-UP4. POWER SUPPLY > Rosewill HIVE 550W, Modular Design. PROCESSOR > AMD A10-5800K 3.8GHz (4.2 Turbo) Socket FM2. GRAPHICS CARD > Saphire Radeon HD 6670. RAM > Corsair Vengence 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 SDRAM, 1866MHz. STORAGE > Western Digital Black 1TB 3.5" SATA 6.0Gb/s 7200RPM | Hitachi 300GB 2.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s 5400RPM. NETWORKING > Rosewill RNX-N300X PCI Wireless Adapter | USB TPlink Wireless Adapter. COOLING > 2 Cooler Master 140mm Blue LED Fans | 1 Cooler Master 120mm Blue LED Fan | 1 Cooler Master SickleFlow 120mm Blue LED Fan | 1 Stock NZXT Case Fan | These are all controlled by a NZXT Sentry Mesh Fan Controller with Five Watts Channels (Black). -
Wow I did not know that you can do that. Also at my school the state paid for all of our 3DS Max keys all we had to do is download it. :D
-
Thanks, and by the way awesome build!

Do you by any chance have the specs for it?
