As you all know there are a fair amount of hackers that hang around the cities or teleport there to kill everyone they see. I was picked up on a spawn by some guys who dedicate themselves to killing such hackers. They hack themselves to kill those who pray off of killing legit players. They have real time markers on the map of all players and teleport and kill those doing wrong. Theres a pretty big community dedicated to this. I don't hack or condone it but I felt a little better knowing this was happening.

A friend of mine who i met (fellow survivor) just got recruited to a new clan and got me an invite. I'm currently on skype with them and they are just spawning stuff on official servers (Helicopters, guns, bikes etc). I feel like a bit of an asshole, but I want to report them because it's fucking lame. The effects on other survivors aside hacking RUINS any sort of sense of achievement or accomplishment. If anything it has really opened my eyes to how rampant hacking is, and how rare it is to find people with legit items. -

Also, I was under the impression that the hacks were scripts that are detected and people get permabans eventually. The sad truth is that it's undetected that they pay monthly for the anti-cheat protection. Sad to find out! -

Fair enough. I'd run a video - Firstly I don't know how (fraps?) and secondly i don't want to be implicated. I haven't used any spawned items or used any software. If i report them where do I do it? Surely their in-game name means shit because you can just change it. -
This just happened to me - killed somebody with a FAL and had 6 clips. I logged out, logged back in later to find i had ZERO ammo. Not pleased.

Hey guys, Basically I find it hard to press ALT and F4 at the same time really quickly as they are quite a space away on the keyboard, and when you are underfire in a key place (like the barracks) you dont want to waste ANY millisecond in escaping. Sometimes I just can't press it quick enough and leave bleeding and have to use an entire bandage when I server hop to a more empty server to loot my free NVG and 50.cal. So my question is, is there a way to macro the sequence so it's more efficient so i can play this game more effectively (survival) Cheers

I just shot a survivor 3 times at point blank and he didn't die...

2 bandits decided to raid our barn we were held up in, I was equipped with a Lee Enfield and took his buddy down in two shots. The guy in question ran inside and decided to just stand pointblank and exchange shots with me (he had a winchester). I hit him 3 times in the torso before he killed me, and he was still standing. I was under the impression Lee Enfield was a 2 shot kill (used to be one) -

It had 2 rangefinders in it, 4 NVG, 3 snipers (im new so im not sure) one was DMR (i accidentally deleted trying to put in my backpack) and two different ones which each look like a 50.cal. I took the NVG, Rangefinder a rifle and lots of ammo for it and deleted all the other guns. I presume they are hacked? Surely somebody wouldn't have these items laying around in a tent, in a barn.

Cry more. The other items he had I specifically dumped them in the grass around the place I found the tent. I would have done the same but deleting the guns is more fun. I'm glad it annoyed you. Does it annoy you that I logged out, will join an empty night server to relocate to the coast, then pick off new spawns? I hope so.

If he wanted to save his belongings, he should have hidden them. Survival is the name of this game.

Doesn't this make the game more realistic, even if it was identical? Surely ALL zombies aren't going to react exactly the same with exactly the sight range?

My best game yet... I got to Castle Zub which was barbed at the entrance. As I tried to vault over my I died, I noticed the leg break and the other symbol that looks like that (what does that mean btw?) Almost instantly after thinking "what the hell? barbed wire can kill you?" I noticed everybody on the server was dying in rapid succession. Everybody on the death screen was crying hacker - has this happened to anybody else before? I did find it suspicious as it happened mid vault over barbed wire...

This. Zombies aren't so much of a threat when you get used to their mechanics. Survivors are your worst enemy. I usually just sprint into a few key points in Elektro/Cherno and sprint out.
