I saved a guy from a few zombies the other day only for him to take me out straight after it

I've been playing for a few days now, and the very first lives i had in game i came across a number of other players. My most recent life i've been alive a lot longer, but haven't seen anyone else around! I usually log into populated servers! Just wondering how often you come across other players?

Im holed up in a large city, bells chime. I've got a number of ammo clips, picked up an alice pack, compass, a watch. flares etc. only gun i have is a makarov sidearm! im to scared to leave the building.

I think im in one of the larger towns/cities currently, and i still haven't seen anyone! Im not sure where i am, all i know, is a church bell has sounded a few times? any ideas?

Mine is fine 3rd person Fps it shakes like mad

my six launcher just updated, its now saying half of the servers i can see are out of date, and the ones it says im fine to log onto present me with this error: bad version, server rejected any ideas?

but even the updated versions of the servers are not working!? hmm, strange i'll try later :)

So im dead, it all started as i worked my way around and into an airbase for the first time! I came across a building that i could access, i walked inside closed the door. I managed to pick up a mag for a gun, and proceeded up the stairs where i got my hands on a gun, ak47 i believe. I get to the to the top of the lookout tower where there was another gun, a lee enfield and various other items, smoke grenade chem light etc. I look out and admire the view to see a guy being chased by zombies, he made his way to where i was by climbing a ladder on the front of the building. I thought it was safe, only to watch 6/7 zombies climb a ladder?? I thought zombies were beings devoid of any intelligence at all! Yet they managed to climb the ladder, so i emptied my clips into the zombies and killed them all. Only for the survivor i saved to run inside the building grab the lee enfield and gun me me down! lol I then respawned right next to some zombies on the coast, i ran to the sea they followed me swam towards me and killed me! So zombies can climb ladders and swim, what next? On a side note i am loving this game :)

yeah im really enjoying it, just wish i hadnt of died so soon after getting a gun. im going to be put off helping others from now on, im going to be cautious.

I've been playing for a day or so now not long sessions just grabbing what chance I get. Died a few times scoping places out and looking for loot! Today I logged in and wandered onto an airbase I moved into a small building and shut the doors as there were a few zombies around! To my amazement they started walking through walls, I started to panic and called for help! Haha i had no weapon of sorts to defend myself, when all of a sudden two guys answered my plea! They proceeded to gun down the zombies for me and after they were out of the picture they led me to a gun :) great moment in the game for me! As I've read a few stories on here which make it seem that it's kill or be killed!!

Had this earlier zombies going crazy through walls!

I've recentley started out in the game, loving it so far. Died a few times scouting out the local areas.. My question is how do i pinpoint my location, i've seen some of the maps on here! But how do i know where i am in relation to everything!
