Hello the community of DayZ ! I recently bought Arma 2 : CO and have been playing the DayZ mod for some time now. I don't have the best PC, so I did a search and tried some configs. Nothing seems to be working very well, so I ask you to post the best config or help me with my preformance issues. PC Spec : AMD Anthlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+ 2.00Ghz 2 GB of RAM Radeon HD 6850 1 GB OS Windows Xp If you have any tips how to boost my preformance, please tell and thank you in the future. Okay, so I didin't do nothing except format both of my disks and reserved one just for steam / DayZ. The config I used is listed in this thread : http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/45835-ultimate-guideinformation-thread-to-increase-performance/ A lot of rep to that guy that too the time and make the guide. I get bout 60-80 fps, no lag spikes whatsoever. I hope this helps anyone else that's having the same problems as me, and if you need anything just PM me. Have a good one, Neon.

I just reinstalled my PC because I had too much stuff and it was slowing it down. About the ram, currently I have DDR400 (ddr1) 2x 1gig and I can add 2 more gigs. As for overclocking I am not familiar so If anyone could help I'd be glad.

Allright, will probably buy a pair so i'd upgrade it to 4gig. In the near future I just hope I can get the money for a decent PC

Yeah I know, currently looking just for a RAM upgrade, might add 2 gig, don't really think that 4 gb of ram will change anything tho, since the CPU is so old..

^ Tried it, makes the game look nicer but framerate still the same, a bit better maybe

Great guide, but I have a question. Is it possible to focus the game using my grafic card since I have a preatty outdated CPU. Thanks in the advance. EDIT : Best config I've tried so far, have decent FPS, no lag spikes.

Yeah my PC is preatty outdated, but currently I can't afford one and looking for the best config.
