2/10 Hackers. 2/10 Nice people willing to answer questions and have fun with the game. 1/10 People who sit on the forums and bitch out anyone who posts something. They have a right to post it, weather they QQ, ask the same question, or even if it's a stupid question, they have a right to post what they want to say. 5/10 Not Hackers but not nice people. Just mean people in general, shoot on sight, yell at people on the forums, and get mad at noobs instead of trying to help them. I've played lots of games, why is this community so rude in the forums and so unwilling to help people? I'm willing to put up with bugs, and glitches, and even hackers (to an extent, they reallllly piss me off) but some people that post on the forums and I meet in game just take the cake.

I'm legit asking a question. Why is it so easy to hack? I really do want an answer, this is not a pointless thread, I want to know why people enjoy killing everyone for no reason at all.

I find them all the time, mostly in military spawns and downed choppers, but sometimes on dead bodies as well. If you want to find ducks, you need to go to where the ducks live :3

We have all done it before... killed that innocent little survivor asking for beans. Wether you play this game as a survivor, or a bandit, everyone at one point kills someone who doesn't deserve it at all. I not only want to to share with you my most cruel moment I've ever seen, but I also want to hear of your own cruel/brutal moments where you just felt bad afterwards! This is my most brutal moment i've ever seen, poor guy.Although another moment I didn't get on camera, was when I was using a survivor on the shoreline 600m away as target practice for my M14, I hit him in the leg, and ran down to him to chat. He said "What the hell man, don't kill me, I have a Mountain Dew!" I checked his backpack, he wasn't lying, he had no weapon or gear really besides a mountain dew he must have found somewhere. I said to him "Yea sorry man, let me patch you up, which is when I realized I had no more morphine... and Kamenka is a long ways away from a hospital.. So I said, "Man... I'm really sorry, I have no more med supplies!" He said "Oh shit! It's fine bro I will just crawl!" I said "It's a long ways man, like hours..." "Oh it's fine I just really want this mtn dew!" He said, as he tried to crawl away from me. I kept following him with my gun pointed down, and he started crawling frantically saying "Seriously man no no no no no don't shoot me! Come on man no!" Then I got out my m1911 and said "I'm really sorry for this man, and finished him off." Victory, and cruelty, never tasted so sweet. Same with the Mountain Dew! ;]

I suppose it sounds bad with him using the faggot bomb, but the person we killed is in a rival clan of ours, and he had been killing some of our guys all night, and when I personally got knocked out once, he called me a "n*gger bitch* so he probably didnt think much of it haha.

I know how to fix it. Go back to the old version of dayz, the last patch, try to join the server, ( it will fail) redownload the new patch, then join again. End up on shore. BOOM

I usually just shoot on sight now.. but one time I decided to live a life of a "nice guy survivor" i ended up finding a guy in the school of Elektro named "Zed" who said "Friendly?" and I responded the same, then 2 more guys came in, they were friendly as well, we all exchanged skypes, and have been playing daily since. That was months ago, on my FIRST LIFE. I', playing with them as we speak. :)

I would have aborted, it's a survival game, exploit in the game or not, it's surviving. You may feel a slight decrease in "pride" but at least you'll be alive, but in all honesty, starting from nothing is kinda fun.

Just the other day, I had the scariest thing ever happen to me. I was in Electro with one of my good friends Devan, and we were looking for car parts to bring to my other friend who had just located a UAZ that needed various car parts to run. So as we were searching for some car parts, it began to rain. A heavy, dark rain. The server was my friends, and was very new, so it had maybe 8 or 9 people on it, so we weren't super worried about running into anyone who would be a threat. Since our characters were new, I had a Lee Einfield with an M1911 and he had an AKM with a few mags. The rain was extremely heavy and the sky was super dark with thunder constantly booming across the sky so when we saw an optimal factory to hide in and look for car parts for a bit, we proceeded with haste. As we got into the factory, we closed all the doors and started bandaging ourselves/eating food and looked for some spare car parts. It was one of those large open factories with only one room so we soon realized nothing was here and it was useless, but just before we left the factory, we heard the scariest, creepiest music I've ever heard in my life. We stood in the middle of this large room, and listened to someone over direct chat play the music "It's raining it's pouring, the old man is snoring, he got out of bed, and bumped his head, and couldn't get up in the morning." it was sung by a very echoey-creepy little 6 year old girl that reminded me of some sort of horror movie. We stood there for a full minute, listening to it, screaming at eachother over skype to our other friends like "Dude what the fuck is going on, man i'm getting goosebumps!" and for a minute we literally stood in shock. All of the sudden, a large crack of thunder echoed and the music stopped... and we both pulled out our primary weapons and aimed at the door, expecting some asshole to open and come in guns blazing at us. After the thunder stopped for a second, the door swung open and there stood a man, dressed in a full green/blackish suit with a weird white mask and held an axe. Blood covered his face and his hands, the axe, and his whole suit. It was obviously not a normal skin for the game, and he was big and buff. He stared for a second, and we open fired and shot everything we could into his chest, all mags were shot from both of our guns. Then, after we ran out of ammo, we stood for a second staring, at a standstill with the man who stood unphased from the bullets. Then after 10 seconds of awkward silence, the music came on again, "It's raining... it's pouring..." and he ran full speed at us, swinging the axe around and swerving like a mad man, we screamed in horror and shock as he chased us, and our friends on skype were wondering what the fuck was going on, we tried to explain, and after a solid 20 seconds of being chased, we looked at him and saw his name was "Hubert" and luckily our Admin friend was on skype, and as he was chasing me, my other friend said, "Sorry Hubert, your about to get banned" and then he was gone. As quickly as he came. I've never been more scared, I was shaking and had goosebumps for the rest of the night. Now that's a hacker, not some stupid guy who shoots you 10 miles away with a sniper, if you want to see someone else who encountered him (Not us, i wasn't running fraps) here is the link to about the same thing he did to us. beware of him... you may be next...

Sorry for stealing all of your shit, but as a group of 7 survivors, 9 tents full of food, ammunition, fuel, and weapons was too hard to pass up. But don't worry, we destoryed all of the tents, put 1 tent back up, and filled it with Empty tin cans. and I realize this was a Bandit act, hence just another reason why I posted it in the Bandit portion (along with the fact that I enjoy seeing Bandits mad) and one could also argue that this was the act of a survivor, since our group of 7 was running kinda low on food and water after a run from cherno up to the Ural spawn, and letting the weapons/ammuniton/supplies aid a different group of surviors/bandits on the server would just make our chance of survival less, so is it not an act of a Survivor?

Lol we figured they were Bandit tents because earlier in that spot (Ural spawn) we had found the Ural as a group and were heading to it, and massacred on a field by about 4 or 5 snipers. Later on in the night, we head to the Hill above the Ural, find them. So everyone can stop being so butt hurt lol. What would you do if you came across the tents full of goodies by people who just slaughtered you after a 3 hour run to the Ural spawn?

My first life on DayZ, I don't know what the FU** I'm doing and am figuring out what I should do and what buttons do what when all of the sudden I walk into the "school" in Elekctro and there are 3 other people sitting in there pointing guns at each other. They were all talking in voice-com, telling each other to put the guns down and asking who is who and what everyone was doing. I came in and they all looked at me and saw I had no weapon and after just 2 minutes of talking they had already entrusted me with a weapon and had given me a new back pack. Then we all decided that we wanted to be survivors and hunt down bandits, so on my first DayZ life I was hunting bandits and made 3 new skype friends! Boom!

Try not to put them in obvious locations (that seem good at the time). I was with 6 other friends last night, (we are survivors not bandits) and we came across 7 bandit tents in the rocks by the Ural spawn. We ended up taking anything of value (tons of weapons/supplies/car parts/maps/etc.) and then blew them all up with grenades. So avoid spots that "look like they are stealthy" but actually aren't. They were just all up on some big hill lol. Survivors will have no mercy for a bandits tent, so be careful!
