to expand on the fly-overs idea, it could perhaps be possible for people to find some very rare strela AA and take down one of the helicopters/jets flying over for even better loot. Perhaps make it so that the AA is only obtainable from a helicopter crash site, and have the coordinates and time for the jet or helicopter flyover broadcast though the radio (something like this is already ingame, but at the moment it tells the grid coordinates of deer stands). Possibilities are endless etc etc :) -
-Monthly Fee (but you will need to up the player count per server to around 200 ish) -No to buying items (unless cosmetic only) -Community and studio developed (Choosing either one without the other will gimp gameplay) -Kickstarter, Only you (the dev team) know the current situation well enough to decide on this one. EDIT: becareful of doing an deals with publishers as they will most likely have a big influence on gameplay(usually not a good one from past experiences)

I get that icon when being mauled by zombies or when i fall a considerable height (without disconnecting), taking painkillers removes it for me.

If yes, allow the bandit to choose from a selection of skins (or at least a stealthier skin), else i vote no. PS to forum admins/devs: it will not allow me to vote, giving me a message that i do not have the required permission.

Bandit tracking mechanic to help discourage random killing

I suggest that when studying a body, it should tell you who killed that individual, and how long ago that person was killed, what caliber of bullets are in his body, this would be a simple example of an ingame tool which would allow anti-pkers to punish the pkers, as it would enable people to track the mass murderer by following the body trail with the decreasing time of death. While also allowing the more skilled pkers to hide the bodies in order to cover their tracks, or even dragging the bodies and placing them in such a way as to lead the anti-pkers into an ambush etc etc possibilities go on. There has to be a compromise that is at the very least semi-realistic, as in real life that mass murderer would most probably have developed an MO which would set how his murders look appart from the rest, e.g if he uses a crossbow, the victim would always be shot in the same place, or a trophy taken from the body, this would be pretty hard to add into the game, so it does make sence that if a player has surpassed a certain ammount of kills that you could tell who he kills, and time of death could be justified by how body the warm is, and if its cold, it would display time of death as unknown. Loosing all their gear and having to start over again, while everybody knows your a pker is punishment enough isnt it ? Feel free to criticise, add, agree or completely dismiss the suggestion, i want to know what others think of this idea. -

I dont think there is a bandit problem at all, im one of the bad bandits out there afterall, (http://www.dayzmod.com/leader/murdersa.php) but im the kind of bandit that only uses his trusty AK with ironsights, and does not kill people who only carry a pistol. But you cannot say it would not be fun to be able to lure a mob of Bandit hunters into an ambush. -

i doubt that is ever going to change in this mod, highly doubt the devs will add anything artificial to stop that, but it would be great if they would give us the tools to hunt down the player killers. Loosing all their gear and having to start over again, while everybody knows your a pker is punishment enough isnt it ?

If anything a mass murderer should get a stealthier outfit the more kills he has, afterall if he has managed to survive that long he can't be a complete retard wearing a bright red scarf on his head. In my opinion it should be the other way around, a bandit should have the red scarf until around - 60k humanity, then change to the more camouflaged scarf. -

Multiple characters

I really hope they do not add in multiple characters, it would take away the need for tents and loot stashes, as you could just use multiple characters as storage, using a vehicle, or a tent as a means of transfering items from one character to the other. -

Peeps just kept on comming to loot the bodies :s apparently nobody stopped to think why there were alot of bodies still full of loot out in the open. Lesson 1 of dayz, if it looks too good to be true, it usually is. In the end there was about 10-12 bodies there, when my party got to electro, they got fully geared in one spot :D (If they just have a pistol and are not shooting at you, always let them go alive so you can scavenge them later when they have more useful loot) Sniper rifles are for cowards. -
Some poor soul about to get become roadside dinner for a zombie mob. Intense panic/screaming over teamspeak while opening the door to somebody in need of shelter, perfect timing to allow him in but no zombies. We all take a deep breath and think about our families and our loot :( before breaking the windows and getting flooded by zombies. Only one man survived.
