Set up your sound Settings to 4 speaker setup instead of putting it as Headphones. Use computer speakers as you back left & right; and your headphones as front left & right. You can pin point which direction sounds are coming from so much easier.

i tried going through the shooting range tutorial. Got past the first part with the pistal but then i get to the part where i'm suppose to pick up the assault rifle but somethings bugged and i can't pick it up and it then disapears after i try. So i'm stuck at part 2 where it says pick up the rifle but its gone and i can't progress.......

I could be wrong but have you tried: hold shift and the "-" key on the number pad and then typing "Flush." *Best solution to the artifacting seems to finding a new server that has less stuff to cause the f'up, staying away from highly populated hotspots seems to be fine.

isn't "for fun" the reason why most ppl play games?

Those times are not always accurate. There's alota servers with time not matched up to descripton and everytime it goes down for maintaince game time gets reset so its always daytime when you are on them.

pick a different server. Loading time varies from server to server, depending on how good they are and how busy or full they are. I don't wait more than 5 mins, i'll close client and try a different server. I know it says don't do that but no point waint 10-20 mins then find out the server sucks and has shitty fps. If it loads within 5 mins I know its a decent server & will give me good fps. Also using 1.7.2.4 & 95417 beta helps.

Aren't ppl already getting away with always daytime? I've been playing for the last 4 days and have only ran into one server @ nighttime. Even when I pick timezones that should be night they're day & I've checked out same servers both night and day my time. I'm guessing everytime ppl take a server down for maintance they reset the clock back to the server start time.

zombies glitch through closed doors. But ya nice to know zombies despawn if no ones in town, but i've scouted many small towns with a few zombies but never ran into anyone

The massive graphic glitches seemed to go away as soon as I installed Beta v95417. *I found a map that says helicopter crashed here with a circle marking the spot. Its in the middle of a field SW of a church. I ran through the fields and there was no helicopter. Is there a timer for it to spawn? or is suppose to be there and have loot on a timer but isn't in yet?

Didn't know this game was so hardcore that if the door swings and hits me I can break a bone & die. Working as intended?

I'm having problems doing the same thing. It was working before and now my guy only walks. He runs if i double tap W and i turned off the shiftx2 to toggle run walk so i wouldn't acidentally do this
