It is because your indicators don't update while the debug monitor is on. Most likely you are either thirsty or hungry, which is causing the slow drain. Try setting the dayz ui option to default in game options.

you have my beans sir. Got the mod installed and ready so just need a free evening and i'll give it a go. By the looks of it though it seems like the best idea to hit dayz in a long time!

I agree that it needs to be possible to remove tents, many servers are already filled to the brim with them. But why not just make it so that anyone could remove a tent? Let people work a bit for the gear they have stashed. Would also be an incentive to be more inventive about tent placement. There are so many camps out there that are just dead obvious. If people could pack up tents, that would also help limit the amount of high-end military gear available...

I get adrenaline rush and my heart races everytime im in player vs player encounters. That's the beauty of this game, it's so intense. No other game does this for me...

Personally i'm torn. They can be a lot of fun to use, but i agree that it is certainly less challenging (and not entirely realistic) to be able to oneshot people at 1000m. Also, the amount of AS50 ghillie snipers you encounter is insane, it seems to have become one of the most commen sniper rifles by now (no doubt due in part to hackers spawning them in). I doubt it will be removed completely for this mod but i hope they skip it in the standalone. I don't see the need for any other .50 cal sniper than the M107. It is sufficiently powerful, but somewhat balanced by the fact that it is a true aggro magnet and very audible for players also, so if the game really needs a .50 cal sniper, i think it should be the only one.

Don't bother with gamebooster. Check out this guide for starters. While your computer isn't absolute junk it's not exactly state of the art either, and ARMA is an unbelievable resource hog... Anyways, stepping resolution down a notch or two may give you a boost.
