    In game vs real life

Its hard to say how one would act like in a real world situation similar to this, specially when it comes to killing Innocent for there loot an beans (=p). But one thing I do know with the right manipulation of your mind by making yourself believe one thing when your doing another is well very easy with practice...and one can do just about anything thing when they can manipulate their morals of whats right and whats wrong.
  3. Well this hasn't happened to me(knocks on wood) Ive noticed it happening more an more to other players. Even more so the killing sprees that are occurring in them have been cause sever wide raging quitting. =(

    Player corpses not appearing

Noticed this as well, today after starting up 1.5.8.4, I found myself at the factory by the coast. looked around for loot an ended up the roof where I saw a couple of survivors coming up the coast, killed um both including a bandit who had been stalking them, then went back to looking for loot. I went outside( maybe 10ish mins later) an went to where I had killed them I found nothing, only the sound of flies remained. =( very annoying. There was mention of this happening on US severs. I was in US2
  5. One question does he have beans? In all seriousness though so long as shooting him wouldn't present a threat to me either by alerting zeds, or If I knew there was a better armed more dangerous person that could be alerted to my presence I'd kill him in a heartbeat. Why? Why not... >=)
  6. Completely agree. This game is about realism. By surviving longer you have better gear thats your reward for surviving longer an by a chance you are careless an are killed by someone who hasn't survived as long as you thats your own fault. Though back to your original idea, I could see maybe finding a bullet proof vest at a military base that would take maybe half the damage of bullets to the chest off or something like that or a ballistic helmet would also be good realistic, an rewarding ideas for those that survive longer an exploring more difficult location. That being said the system is fine the way it is.
  7. Fucked up bandit, who enjoys baiting/tricking, and stalking.

I really did try to be nice.

word is this Thursday, haven't you noticed that the Humanity meter-deaie is already gone from ta debug menu. Though findable "skins" are suppose to be added at some point as well, so we can...if we want, still stand out. =)

I really did try to be nice.

Well the days of profiling will soon be over, and I must say it'll be interesting to see how survivors act when our skins are gone, and we can blend right in with the sheep. =^_^=
  10. I have many "worst" sins to confess >.>...but lets just go with the most recent one. I was lying prone 534meters out from the Hospital on Cherno's outskirts CZ in hand an already dialed in on the roof. My mission was simple bait and deceive. My cover story, I had been recently shot by a sniper in the city, lost allot of blood but had managed to make it to the rooftop of the hospital, and of course needed a blood transfusion(=p). Also because of my blood loss I could not climb back down in fear of passing out and dying. ANYWAYS back to the confession, two guys said they would help. They were a little ways off an we chatted for the 20ish minutes it took them to arrive. They seemed pretty cool, and well nice survivors who just wanted to help out of the goodness of there heart(blah blah blah). So when they arrived on the roof top seemingly confused that I was no where to be seen, and then typed in "where are you?" I felt a little bad as pull the trigger an killed the guy closest to the ladders. Even worse as I watched his friend scurry around the roof at first trying to get down a ladder but then giving up an going prone desperately trying to push himself into against the edge of the wall so I couldn't see him. Needless to say I killed him...well shot him...I let him bleed out...didn't want to waste the ammo >.> ...so how about 5 hail marys and we call it a night =)

    Clothing/Skins

Something I was curious about, haven't read anything myself but maybe someone else has. When you find clothes do you lose them like everything else when you die?

How to make Survivors trust you?

I've found that when someone asks while enter a town/city if there are friendlies, and you respond that you are technique still works some of the time. If they respond asking for help or to party up you have a bite. From there its all about the effort you put into making them trust you while not coming off as desperate, or shady. Mainly they need to take the bait. : By them asking for help/party up they are the ones asking you to trust them. This puts you in position of the good but cautious survivor, and you should use it to ur full advantage. :pick the location, this gives you control over the area, and prevents the survivor from (at least until its too late) seeing you. This also helps in the case of a bandit trying to bait you, they'll be less likely to head into a area you choose then if you give in and meet where they want. :make small chat, put them at ease : warn them of bandits in the area, true or not it will give them the idea that you have there health in mind, and are a good person. :Lastly always remain in control, and be ready to cut the line If you feel the situation is getting out of hand.
  13. I haven't read all the replies on this thread, so what I am going to say may have already been said many times over, but I wish to express my concern over this change. As it stands the Survivor/Bandit system is flawed( there no denying that) ...for self defense bandits and those who became bandits only because there negative humanity had gotten so low that they just gave up trying to be good an took on the "life style" of a bandit. But for those of us who are true bandit the lack of a different skin(while more realistic) will make it so that no one can be trusted. Right now survivors(for the most part) trust other survivors, an well shoot bandits. With bandit skins removed, no one will be able to trust others an it is my feelings that Day Z will turn into a something of a death match...with zombies, an the group surviving dynamic will be left to clans, an those who know ppl outside of this game. The whole trusting an teaming up with other players will be left behind. Yes something needs to be done that much is true. But I think that taking out the bandit skins all together is a bad idea. There has to be some other way of dealing with this other then completely scraping "Humanity" which I believe could be something great an complex with just the right construct around it. This is only my opinion, for all I know removing the skin could end up working out great. I just wanted to "voice" what I feel what will happen. (also sorry for any grammar mistakes I'm not usually one for writing an blah blah blah)

  15. --Come on don’t be bashful we all have one, a fail so spectacular it was almost like a win...almost =p-- I was traveling through the woods when I came upon a town, drawn in by the warm glow of a street flare. I snuck through the shadows of buildings drawing closer I could hear two voices in the distance, an my excitement grew as I closed the distance between me an my prey. Finally I caught sight of one the first survivors. Standing up on the second floor of a building looking around the the town an casually chatting with his partner. I waited patiently in the shadows behind a gate waiting for a perfect moment, an then it came when attempting to climb down a ladder the survivor fell downing himself. Hearing him calling to his teammate for help who said he was on his way, I knew that the perfect time had finally come an all I had to do now was wait. A few moments later the second surviver came into view, moving over to his friend an crouching down beside him. The time had finally come an I took aim with my makarov bringing the iron sights over the second survivor and fired 3 rounds downing him just as the fallen survivor was regaining consciousness. I confidently moved my crosshairs over to the 1stsurvivor knowing full well that he would never be able to recover in time before I shot him. I grinned as I pulled the trigger only instead of hearing a satisfying bang, all I heard was a click...my gun was empty, thats when I remembered. 30mins earlier after a stalking gone wrong an defending myself against a zombie hoard I had only been left with 3round in my magazine, but in the excitement I had completely forgotten. I laughed silently to myself as I watch the now very conscious survivor take aim with his winchester an preceded to take my head off. It was almost perfect...

    The Bandit Code

Well then I do believe that most of us are "sinner and of Heresy" lol...Suvivors aren't the only ones who carry bean you know =p
  17. .: So why have you chosen to walk the path of “darkness"(was it for the beans =p?) - Because of the bandit skin I had received 20mins into my first game while defending myself. I found that survivors didn’t care “how” I received the skin, only that I had it, an I was “treated” acording...and “defended” myself according, an eventually grew to enjoy everything about being a bandit. The Hunts, the traps, the challenge, and of course the beans<3 .: Lets talk about tactics, what are yours? - My tactics tend to vary depending on my mood, but stealth is alway implemented in any action I take .: Do you prefer to hunt alone or in a pack? - Always alone, the few times I have teamed up with other bandits, I found that they were too reckless, couldn’t be trusted, or simply cramped my style. .: Your preferred hunting ground(s)? - I usually hunt between the Bolota Airfield an Cherno Factories, though lately I’ve been making my way north, better more organized, and challenging prey .: What are your weapons of choice? - I prefer winchester for medium engagements an the CZ for long range operations. .: Your greatest strength as a Bandit? - I would say patience by far. Be it waiting for a victim to come on by, or being patient enough to wait out enemies who have boxed me into a building an hoping for me to make a run for it so that they can shoot me .: Now how about a weakness of yours, come on everyone has one? - Stubbornness, once I engage my “prey” I WILL NOT runaway even when the situation turns against me, an there no way for me to possibly survive except for me to turn tail...it has lead to my downfall many times over. .:Lastly, how about telling us your greatest moment(s) as a Bandit of Chernarus. - While wandering on the north outskirts of Cherno I came across a Huey next to the Cherno North hospital, and a plan quickly formed. I climbed to the top of the hospital an started sending out messages. Acting like a nice and naive survivor asking for people for help repairing it. After about a hour I had killed 6survivors and well 2bandits who I’m guessing were looking to set up a trap of there own.
