Date/Time: 3ish am (EST) What happened: Long story short: I was hurt by some zeds brought down to 950blood. kept passing out eventually gave up trying to save myself an swam to the marshy island a little ways from Electro, where I fought and was eventually killed by zeds. (PROBLEM STARTS HERE) upon repawning I was back on the island with the same gear an stats(zed count, blood, murders, blah blah) I figured I was bugged so I repawned 3 more times same thing happening ever time. Only I noticed my dead clones where i had died,(each had same gear). 4th repawn I thought that maybe if i left island an went off the problem would stop. Headed to Electro met up with some randoms who healed me, an we went off around the city salvaging (90ish mins later) while in the market we were ambushed and all killed. I left the sever mainly due to FPS-ness and joined a US sever (sorry can't member which) where I repawned same exact spot where I had died, same gear, stats, and health before being killed. Thats when I logged off an decided to post. Sorry for the length but i wanted to make sure i got everything down. Where you were: -Marshy island near Electro What you were doing: -Respawning *Current installed version: -1.7.1.2, an up to date beta *Server(s) you were on: SE 10, an a US sever I cant remember sorry. ANy help to resolve this problem would be great.

delete please, problem resolved it self apparently, logged back in 3hrs later, in a different spot, played was later killed, an repawned normally.

small bug I ran into just to let you now not to bitch. I picked up a enfield an 22hatchets and 1 crowbar apeared on the ground where I had picked up the gun. Hate to be that "guy" but will this help with performance issues. desync seems to be fixed. but still experiencing FPS rawrness. =(

So far I must say I'm liking the changes. No starter weapon adds allot to the mod. Also makes dying harsher, an getting back to where you were equipment wise more challenging. Zed wise noticed a few things. Didn't really noticed the whole zeds spots ya from 30m's an a whole swarm attacks. I did think there vision seemed a little keener though, but for the extra sneaky not really a problem. I like that they are now dangerous(actually a threat), got knocked on my ass by a small group of them( and I had sidearm an prime-.-) all in all I like the changes quite allot. Only things i did notice is the FPS is still sluggin 12-21 avg(Use to be 40+ b41.6). over 3severs an about2hrs of gameplay. Also froze on loading screen 3times.

yay I can play again. <33 also happy ur making the zeds harder. While I do enjoy the PK element this is a Zombie apocalypse an ppl should be just as afraid of them if not more so then those of us who are bandits(=p). Should be interesting. thanks for the changes Rocket & Team

Eta on FPS sever crankiness? Read a post yesterday from Rocket stating that they would be fixed in 20hrs haven't found any updates or information regarding that or progress. Anyone have any info?

I was on for a few hours today. Hit a few towns(barns, apts, farms, stables, and one market) and found nothing. Rocket said they are camo, an gilly suit, so perhaps they are located in military areas? Just a guess anyways =/

The problem with setting up ambushing IN towns or cities, the zeds. While the one or two shots it takes to kill the victim probably won't be enough for another bandit(who could be in the area) to zero in on your position. The multiple shots you fire to kill the zeds you have aggro'ed probably will be. The posters above have the right ideas. remote areas leading in or out of high loot areas. Also Doktor nice tactic with a loot bait. I used a similar tactic once by placing a map down, saved my life.

Played on US Hardcore sever 1 experianced considerable frame rate drop, switched to US HC 2, same thing, continued to bounce around around 3 other US sever in which i experienced similar frame rate problems. Finally gave up. ( 10-15 FPS on all severs) System Specs. AMD Athlon2 X4 2.9GHZ AMD Radeon HD 6850 8GB Ram

I would like to say I've been following this thread since it was first posted and I'm a little appalled how at first there was praise and now it seems that many people are demanding, and blinding insulting Rocket for not having yet released this patch or addressing some bugs in it either. I would like to remind the haters out there that this is his baby, his dream and if he feels that more testing needs to be done on the new patch then well more testing needs to be done. As far as some of the bugs go, this is alpha an theres still a long way to go, an many more patches, it will all be dealt with I'm sure. So we should be so happy that he wants our input, our ideas, that he cares what we think regarding the content. That he keeps us in the loop an updates so regularly. an I think for all Rockets given to us, the least we can do is be patient. Having said that, I would like to thank you Rocket and your team for bringing this idea to life. -Kaw

The moment I see the silhouette of a survivor I've already decide to stalk an kill them regardless of what gear he may be carrying. Bandits are another story, even though there are no bonds between bandits I tend to not fire on them so long I don't feel that they are a threat. -

[/quote'] "Humanity does persist" yeah I was thinking the same thing and hoping that clothes would stay until you found another set better to ur liking. While this wouldn't be incredibly realistic it would allow for diversity among other people you see, cause after the bandit skins are removed all were gonna really see is survivor skins and I just feel it takes away from the immersion slightly.

I have a question a about the findable skins. When you find one and change your skin, do you reset back to the default skin when you die, an respawn?

"not about punishing player killers" [You kill 2 or 3 people and you get nausea and vomits, possibly affecting your aim, making your hand shake. You keep on killing more 6 people, you occasionally can pass out now. You kill several people and now can be considered a psychotic individual with violent addiction and now you require medication, a special in-game item that serves the function to calm these violent people. It could be hard to find, making the mass murderer constant scavenge for it. Without medication you can suffer hallucinations, shaking, blurred vision, you can involuntarily scream, alerting zeds and players, and other effects.] sure...*rolls eyes* I'm sure Rocket will find away to make both sides happyone day, but ur ideas of penalizing players for killing others just shows your what side your on, and whos interests you have in mind.

Manhunting during the night : Do you shoot Flare-carrying Survivors ?

I Don't usually travel the coast as I don't care to kill freshly spawned players. That being said when I do happen upon a flare holding survivor I usually shoot them, and by usually I mean always. Even though they are no challenge what so ever. I think of it as more or less teaching them a lesson in survival with tough love and bullets =^_^=, so that when they respawn hopefully they won't be so foolish. Kaw: Teacher, helping survivors learn from there mistakes, one bullet at a time =p
