Came back after a 4month break, 30mins into the game, I encountered a hacker while leaving berezino , He could fly, locate players, see names, spawn weapons, keep me from taking out my weapon (I really wanted to kill him =(, though he probably had god mode too), an who knows what else. He didn't seem all that interested in killing me, just wanted to show off his "coolness" before flying off in what he said was the direction of another player.

I carried this note on my last, last character. and given the circumstances that not only lead up to my death, but also how I was killed. I'd say it was very accurate ...almost laughably so... =/

It is a beautiful gun, Thankyou, looks great painted black. It is the SKS actually, I don't trust the .22, like the quiet sound, but doesn't do enough damage when the beans hit the fan. As far as how I came across the hunting backpack, your right I "retrieved" it from another player, robbed him, but he did get my improvised backpack so fair-ish trade >_>...well he got to live! =) and I'll do that, keep your guard up north as well =)

Before and After, switched out my black coat for green, small atempt at blending since I'm in the forest allot, fashion camo ;) All n' All nothing left to get...well boots the zombies ate my last pair...

New character as of .42(patch server issues took my last one), shes a business-ee bad***, lovin' all the police stations, very easy to gather a starting weapon =) Now I just need to find some spraypaint for my my SKS<3

really seems you forgot the most obvious one, option 3: they fix the loot repawn. when loot actually repawns after a cetain amount of time(like its suppose to) then there will be no reason to server hop, an while yeah some will still do it. Im sure most will stop.

I find it funny that the main reponse to posts like this is "every game has hackers" and yes they do, and having to deal with ONE every 100hrs is just something one has to deal with, but perhaps many of you do not remember the dark dayz of dayz(mod) where just about every sever had hackers, and these hackers didn't just have aimbot, god mode and the such, but also had tanks, attack helicopters, and nukes that ruined the game. Now having said that I have yet to see a hacker in my 150hrs but it is my biggest fear for this game.considering the past... a little something from way back when for those of you who may have forgotten. One of the eight apaches flying around raining death on everyone that day. This was not a uncommon occurence back then.

I'm not so much a KOS'er then I am just a simple bandit. I generally tend to avoid people when I'm all set on gear, I don't kill freshies(not that I see many inland) or lightly kited players(unless they present a threat). I will however rob and more then likely shoot a player in the back when I need supplies or they have a item I want. As far as backstabbing goes I have yet to have a encounter in SA(though Ive had a few in the mod) where I have come across a player who had the jump on me but decided not to kill me, But If and when such a encounter does happen even if they had a LRS<3 I wouldn't. As far as my thinking goes backstabbing someone who could have killed you and or just saved your life is really really messed up.
