I am the person who was on the motorcyle. I will validate what he is saying is true. We realized this when i went out on a gas trip and was gone for a bit and I had to eat on my way back while my other friends did not as do to the fact they were not doing all that much other then organizing camp, etc etc. So we then decided to wait for the server we play on (US server) to become fairly empty to test out our theory. We did so and we were confronted with the facts that Cypher gave. In short the faster you travel the faster your hunger deteriorates when going the same distance as a person walking and way faster then a person pretty much sitting in one place.
