No avoid playing this everytime I hear it in game I expect some shit is about to go down

Removing tents would remove part of the whole "survival" feel to the game. I for 1 would set a tent IRL in the woods to store stuff and stay at in ANY kind of major Apocalypse (not the revelation kind either) "They simply unbalance the game, as tents are mostly used by bigger groups or clans which are "overpowered" by nature" Once again IRL would you be a loner, or stick with friends, family, and neighbors? Also removing tents would only encourage people to break apart making Clans that do stick to together that much more powerful, and the number of snipers around Cherno and Electro would only increase. "There are exploits by placing tents on multiple servers at the same point on the map to easily exchange even more stuff and make it safer to hide it away or loose the stuff." You realize a big part of this discussion has been about minimizing server hopping right? Sure it can "help" but it would hurt more than it would help, and if server hopping was minimized WITHOUT removing tents this wouldn't be a big problem (if it even is one I personally don't think so).

IDK Food isn't exactly easy (for me at least) Until you get a hatchet, matches, and a hunting knife.

Seriously this is fucking BS, I've tried EVERY "FIX" and nothing works I've reinstalled Arma 2 and OA and DayZ checked file integrity, updated the beta patches, reinstalled battle eye, reinstalled 6 Launcher/Updater, and looked for hours at other fixes and tried them. Can we please have an Update that fixes this/an Admin who knows how to fix this tell us?

How about disable Respawn for the first 15 minutes after spawning?

I was running through the forest I and I see 2 seemingly helpless noobs (both of them only had pistols), and they asked if I knew which way to Cherno (I guess they were lost). I tell them which way (the actual correct way) and as soon as they got about 50 meters away I pulled out my Enfield and shot them in the back. I got an Alice pack and some matches and food for my trouble :P

Fairly impressive seeing as a lot of people don't quite understand zeroing of rifles, but I was really trying to get to the point that if you miss would you live to still get the kill? Also I would say it takes skill to track down a player for several KMs without being noticed or getting other players to trust you before you kill them.

How many of your 50 kills is this? It take 0 skill as they can't do anything back and really isn't much of an achievement. TBH it's kinda like saying lol look at how many goats/cows I've killed. Everyone can do it and it's not like that it's hard. EDIT: But I am glad to see the number 1 thing I want ALL bandits to do, and that's to do it in a group.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but will this new hive tracking interfere with me finding a decent server Aka one in a Timezone that I like (some don't post it or post the wrong one), doesn't lag, etc?

My first life began at Cherno, and I was playing with friends who got me to buy Arma 2 CO. I met up with them in cherno got a lot of basic loot i.e. Binoculars, Water bottles, soda, a few cans of beans, a double barrel, etc. I continue playing for about 10-11 hours and worked my way up to better stuff like, an AKM a ALICE pack, and some other nice goodies and tools. Eventually though when I joined a Server I was killed by a Sniper as soon as I finished loading. (I was in the woods near the NW Airfield.) On my 2nd life now and its been a few days.

Also make sure Video Memory is set to "Default" or "Very High" if you have more than 512MB of VRAM (like you do).

Also have you even TRIED the TUTORIAL for regular ARMA 2? "I thought it was supposed to be realistic, so why can't I enter 90% of the buildings I come by? Surely I could have just broken a window with my flashlight or a rock if the door was locked? I can't even jump.." Are you kidding? You realize when this game was released and the scope of the map right? If all building were enterable ARMA 2 (especially with its current level of optimization) wouldn't work on most computers ESPECIALLY at the time of release. Though I must admit the lack of jumping is a bit odd, but at least you can vault over fences/railing. "Just running around looking for items and staying away from zombies?" Seriously wtf, all games can be broken down to some really dumb point like yours. Metal Gear Solid series = Just running around avoiding rebels/soldiers looking for items and going through cut scenes. Call of Duty = Going around like a mindless idiot who has no care if they die shooting everything that moves. Seriously all these statements are true but don't really show what the game is really about. Also I must say I've been playing DayZ for literally 2 days and had little to no problems (never play Arma 2 as well, yet) I mean sure I had to get used to some controls and look them up, but I didn't rage like a little kid who can't solve their own problems.

I found a Helicopter Crash right at the edge of Novhy Sabor. Found 2 SD Bizons a medical box and 1 M107 Rifle
