My first kill was pretty interesting, a friend and I met up outside elektro and we were heading north. We ran into a tent that had mostly medical supplies and food, that's when we ran into the owner of the tent, he had a double barrel and was aiming straight at us. My friend started shouting in direct chat that we were friendly and not to shoot. He stood there for a good 10 seconds and then lowered his gun. He was a nice chap and offered us supplies and in return we blood bagged him. We split our own ways and then as we reached the road we heard a lee enfield shot... He had just been killed. We scrambled back up to his camp and saw a bandit looting his body. I proceed to unload a whole akm mag making sure he was dead, didn't have a clue how the game worked back in the day ^^, that was when my first kill occurred Sucks that the good guys in the world get the worse :(

I also tend to find most crash sites between stary and NWAF, mostly find them on the west side of the map never got much luck on the east.

Hello guys! So I've been playing this game solo for quite some time now and I think it's about time that I joined a group of guys to play with :D I'm 17and am currently attending school. My timezone is GMT+1 and I play regularly during the week and weekends. I don't really require anything from the group expect decent manners, mics, and a server to play on. I can adapt to any type of gameplay bandit or hero. Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone so I started playing DayZ back at the very start when we all spawned with our nice revolvers, then came the makarovs, and then nothing :(. After months of playing I just stopped after a clan I was part of disbanded because of numerous members hacking on our server. For some reason after that I never played the game again... I today decided because of nostalgia to start playing the game again and I started looking through the endless patch notes.. I was wondering if someone could crash course the major changes? Map changes? Zombie changes? Weapons? Thanks a bunch guys :D Edit: Posted the not complete post by mistake.

Alright so I was playing with my friend some dayz on the "FR61" server and we got attacked by a guy that was obviously hacking at around 17:00 GMT +1; he had a G36 (not even a DayZ findable weapon, then when he came into the building he already knew where I was, and he survived a whole mag of my Ak O:). In fact I did use Method 1, it seems that from stories of other players the method does sometimes make weapons magically be gone. Guess from now on I gotta watch out, however this has to be fixed.

Date/Time: 27.06.2012 around 6 pm GMT +1 What happened: I was looting North west barracks and decided to take out my alice pack my Aks Kobra to pick of zeds off without getting too close. As a primary at the moment I had an SD Bizon when I switched to my Kobra my bizon was gone. I tried to reconnect but no luck, looked all over the place so it wasn't on the floor. Where you were: Near Northwest barracks in Southwest barracks. What you were doing: Looking for loot without pulling a zombie aggro.
