Can anyone give me any assistance on this? I can run the single player OA fine for a few hours, without crashes. I'm not touching the mod until I know it's fixed.

Well, I turned the option to automatically update off on steam, I got the 95248 patch (I had the 95310 patch)Also, I don't quite understand what you mean, did steam install a brand new patch or did it install the BETA patch, can you elaborate?

So STEAM installed the new beta patch and I go in to play some DayZ with my friends. I have my teamspeak server on so I can hear them. After about 10 minutes of playing the game crashes and all I can is the sound I had on when it crashed. Alt-F4 does nothing, CTRL + ALT + DELETE does nothing. But the weird thing is I can hear m friends talking but I can't talk back (at least I don't think I can) So I do a hard reset and start DayZ back up again, everything runs fine for about 15 - 25 minutes and while I'm driving around in my bus and open up my map it crashes and the same thing happened again. I can still hear my friends talking but I can't talk back. Had to reset the PC again. Would installing the previous patch fix this? I thought the new patch was SUPPOSED to STOP crashing? Thanks for the help.

Just got the game, but I've played around 5 hours and I've learnt the basics, got an MP5 but I need other supplies kinda badly. Don't have a mic, but chat is fine, maybe STEAM. Steam ID is DeputyBaz. I'm from Ireland so possibly only European players but American is fine. I know it may seem pointless to add a beginner to your group. But I really feel I can improve quite a bit in this game, and I have no bad feelings towards executing anyone that's a threat. Thanks if you decide to give me a chance :) .
