1. With the new animation system and player controller, will we be able to move up hills more smoothly? 2. With the new animations for eating making it so you're not locked into it, will we eventually be able to walk or jog while performing such actions? I seem to recall one of the devs (maybe Peter) saying that would be possible. It would be nice to be able to not only cancel eating animations more intuitively, but also not be restricted to standing still. 3. Forest density being increased as a test was mentioned by Eugen on reddit, is there any progress on that? Will we possibly see it tested on Experimental?

1000% agree. I absolutely adored DayZ Mod for the atmosphere that it presented. Was it a little weird that everyone was wearing the same clothes? Yeah, but at least they weren't running around pantless with pink dresses and clown masks on. DayZ SA does not match the post-apocalyptic feel of the mod at all (yet), and a big big reason for that is down to the clothing/accessory "freedom" we've been given. As for the bright and pink stuff, it seems to be mostly geared towards the female audience, whom I think would rather dress like these badass ladies: http://imgur.com/iHB2TP2

Agree 100% with every point. Hold breath definitely needs to work in some capacity after running, but for a short peiod like you said. That would reduce some of the frustrations with the current gunplay quite a bit.

On the topic of gun sway and hold breath: Personally, I am really not happy with where it is. In its current state, as others have said, it makes the gameplay frustrating as all get out. PVP is a huge part of this game, it is the thing that keeps most people playing. Look at any stream on Twitch, where are most people at? They're at any of the current hottest PVP hubs, Cherno/Elektro/Berezino. Survival aspects are important, zombies are important, but PVP with other players is the most important aspect of this game. If the PVP is not fun and enjoyable, no one will want to continue playing. Fun and enjoyable does not equal unrealistic/COD type gameplay either, which is a snarky response I sometimes see towards people who complain about the current mechanics. I would love to see the sway reduced/modified (the sway pattern is also really frustrating), and the time it takes to catch your breath shortened. I don't know how much they should be reduced without being too much. It could need a very small change to both to get the perfect balance, but I would love to see it experimented with in upcoming builds.

Thanks for the post Rocket, it's good to hear from you. So excited for the Standalone dude, you have no idea. -

You're a liar, dude. What happened? Did I kill you? Want me to wipe your tears for you? Stop spreading lies about people just because you're butthurt I killed you or something. -
There are a bunch of hackers on there right now. I wasn't able to get screenshots or videos, but I'm about to go back in. I'll try to see what I can get.

So I've heard you like zombie survival games
smilingb replied to Coldyo's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I don't know what you were expecting from a mod that is still in alpha. When it gets to the point where it's a standalone game, if these bugs/bad gameplay elements aren't adressed, then I would say you have a right to bitch about it. I understand your frustration, though. But if you can't take that shit and keep playing, this was never the game for you. -
I have been having connection issues ever since I installed Arma II:CO Day Z and . It appears that whenever I launch the game, or refresh the server list, and sometimes even while I'm playing, my internet will disconnect for a minute or two. I can't load webpages, and I disconnect from Skype while talking to my friends (who I am playing the game with) I read some posts on the Day Z forums by people who are having this same issue. I've ruled out natural connection issues. Internet was working solid for the past few months right up until I installed DayZ/ArmaII:CO, and it seems to ONLY happen when I log onto the game. So, it's definitely Day Z/ArmaII:CO, or maybe even SixLauncher, causing this. I've tried disabling my AV and Firewall, no change. It did seem to happen less frequently after I disabled them, but I could be wrong about that. Anyone have a clue how to fix this?

Upon loading server list (ARMA II or DayZ) internet completely crashes
smilingb replied to ColtonCM's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
e. Yes, I have pretty much confirmed that it happens only when I am on the game server list, or right when I launch the game, like the other guy said. -

Same problem... Internet is completely fine the past couple weeks, then I install this game and the DayZ mod, and seems like as soon as I boot it up it keeps disconnecting.
