just came across an alice pack and dropped my czech backpack in order to pick it up but when i scroll over it all it says is gear. there's no other option to take pack or anything like that. help? and i lost the czech pack when i put it down, but im not really heartbroken about that

Just did a risky NW airfield loot run by myself and I came across a potentially fatal situation. When you go up into the firehouse up the stairs, you also have the option to climb a ladder (which is outside of the stairwell on the outside of the building). I had no problem with this, until I realized there's no way back into the firehouse and that the only way down will be either death, or sure broken bones and being knocked unconscious. Am I missing an exit?

Excuse me if i missed a thread about this already but I just want to learn a little bit more about the guns in the game. And if a big thread has been written up about it already, could you please point me there? I'm currently in Stary Sobor and just raided the military tents not too long ago and thats when I really realized I don't know too much about the guns that are currently in the game. In the tents I came across a wide variety of guns I could have taken along with me. Eventually I walked away with a Winchester Rifle just because I hear a lot of talk about them on the forum. I also had the option of taking some weapons that were like M4-blah blah blah and I just wanted to know which gun I should take the next time I run into something like this.
