Hi Everyone, My name is SparkyAU and I have been playing DayZ now for a very long time, a large supporter of the mod and by nature helping others. I have recently put my stream together to not only entertain others with my game play but to help out new and starting players. My stream will have mostly hunting on high pop servers and protecting beaners (starters) from harm... I enjoy to hunt players whom hunter others and especially dislike people who camp or hunt starters. All items and weapons I gather from other players will be given to those starting off or requesting my assist, obviously this opens up for a lot of "Trolling" and people hunting me in return by seeing my stream, I have a few ways to combat this, firstly I do not openly share my server address, instead communicate over steam, also I play with a lot of high end players who will keep there eyes open on trades. I don't list the server for that exact reason... We have stuff we don't want to 'give away' to the public :P not yet anyways

Its not a problem, we have several tents loaded with backup gear back at base.. The only thing we can not replace from that list is the NVG's.. everything else we have backup off, but that's not the point.. the fact someone did that is just stupid.. we are packing up camp and moving servers for good.

Hey Everyone, Long time DayZ player here with a nice interesting story of my clans adventures yesterday... The story began later in the evening (my time) when roughly 7 of us from a clan I wont name got together for some DayZ fun, this consisted of parking a trunk outside Stary Sober and awaiting people to find it and 'Attempt' to get away.. Honestly this was a bit of a jerk type of thing to do but we were extremely bored and anyone who fell for that deserved to die. We managed to pop 1 guy and really had no more interest (even though the server was a full 50/50) so we move to the NW Airfield and parked the truck there... waited... waited... waited... still nothing, so we thought.. you know what lets go troll Electro.. so off we went. Just outside electro before the dam we were travelling along on 1 bike and 1 truck that carried all 7 of us and managed to get into a fire fight.. this resulted with 2 deaths on our part after getting jumped, although we managed to kill the two people involved, I can honestly say now that the first shots fired from them were a little 'sus' in that all 3 hit through the front window of the truck easily doing 70/80km/h, but we didn't think much of it and was like that's some impressive shooting, as this was a shot taken side on by the gunmen. We cleaned up the mess, the guys ran back and we re-geared them again.. The gunmen also managed to disable the truck so we left it on the road and continued through the forest on foot.. it had started raining before our gunfight and a few of us were running low, we started a fire and got us all up to about 42 degrees and pressed on.. We decided to get a group photo before we headed off, so we all got in position took the photo and started making our way through the forest when all of a sudden we heard a chopper.. This was a rare sight as none of us had seen one before, the chopper flew over and then came back, we figured at the time they were doing laps of electro and picking up people who had just spawned.. Most of us started taking pop-shots at the chopper as it came back, it wasn't flying fast at all and we were Zeroed correctly to accommodation for the distance which was around 300m, none of us were a bad shot, having all come from a competitive FPS background we could easily judge distance, drop and speed to take correct shots.. Most of us emptied an entire clip of 107 rounds out of 5 AS50's... this thing just took it like a champ... didn't even take damage or seem to be affected.. That was the second sign that something just wasn't right.. Oh I forgot to mention later on in the evening at Stary the server flashed from day to instant night time... like pitch black middle of the night then about 5 mins later flashed back to the middle of the day, we didn't think much of it, possibly a bug or error within the server itself.. that should have been another clue we were in for a rough night. Back to the chopper, this thing just flew past and circled back again, most likely because we shot at it which is understandable.. This time It would easily clear all 7 of us who were hidden rather well within the forest in a matter of moments, at about 300m out the person of the 50. cal didn't miss a beat and made a quick clean up of us all, we didn't even have time to realign and shoot back. I did manage to get a quick glimpse at the gunner who was in civilian clothing and really didn't look like he was an old character.. I believe 5/7 of us died there and then and the 2 others DC'd.. we do not like to DC and will often stay in for a fight but in circumstances like this, we needed too. Now.. lets just say that the chopper is legit and the person on the 50. cal was one hell of a decent shot, lets say that was the case and its all 100% legit.. I give credit to both the pilot and the gunner, they deserve what gear we had.. however the third thing to tip off that someone was hacking would push this "legit" accusation out the window entirely.. I had finally re spawned in electro and was making my way behind electro back to my body.. when all of a sudden myself and several other team members (3 or 4) heard a funny sound.. like a jet almost.. well you guessed it right.. it was a jet.. somehow there was a jet flying through the air, it easily covered a few hundred metres in near seconds, I was soo stumped I didn't even get a screenshot, although several reports of the jet were posted. Just after the jet flew above (I got a good 3-4 second look at it), I instantly dropped to the ground and died, no gun shots, no nothing.. jump BAM dead.. I could have been shot by someone but after the chopper circling Electro and the amazing accuracy the gunner had, I doubt there was anyone left on the ground to shoot me.. all in all, we lost several characters, most of which were easily 15+ days, a few 30+ days and we lost the following items, just to top off a wonderful night... 5 AS50's (About 25 Clips of M107) 5 NVG's 6 GPS's 9 Ghillies (we all carried extras) 7 Bizons (apox 40 Bizon clips) 1 Thermal L85 (I think its called) All in all, I can say I was pretty much going to flip my desk at that point, there needs to be a stronger program to catch these hackers... its just messed up.
