Ok. So this is DayZ. The MMO zombie survival mod. What the hell is this then? http://thewarz.com/ Is The WarZ in anyway affilated with DayZ? Or are they just trying to piggyback off of the idea? If that's the case, could they have not thought of a more distinct name? I mean really? DayZ vs WarZ.. give me a break -__- Apparently their devs have no sense of originality.

I don't mind zombie games, I think that's great. I just don't want this market to become polluted with cheap, flawed, uncared for titles. Look at the fps industry *cough CoD cough*. it makes me sick.

I see what you're saying, but perhaps I worded my previous message wrong. I'm not saying just because it doesn't have a HUD that it's not real, that was just a single example of something I would like to see. My point was I'd like to see more than a couple 3D models if I'm going to look in to following a game, or even preordering it for that matter. They must literally have apes working in their marketing department, assuming WarZ is something more than just pen, paper, and a couple "screenshots". Now I know this is not a way to determine legitmacy in a company, but not even their youtube channel has anything. Any evidence you try to find to support this "game" will just lead you to some weasel commentating over a slideshow of their "screenshots".

As someone on this forum previously stated, it's just vapourware. It's nothing more than a concept and I'm sure Hammerpoint Interactive would have been happy to hop on the bandwagon and jump on the opportunity to get their name behind a new zombie mmo. Show us, the consumers, anything to actually signify there is a real game here. Give me a trailer, gameplay footage, anything. I mean supposedly this has been around for awhile, so where were they at e3? I know DayZ was there. On their website it says they're ending closed beta, but we have yet to even see a screenshot from them. Those "screenshots" they have right now, are not screenshots. They're concept art. Where's the HUD?

There's no proof this WarZ thing is even a real game. There is no gameplay footage for it at all, not even a teaser trailer. They have nothing to show for it. I could make a website tonight called "ub3rl33tzombiesZZ" and claim that it's a game I've been working on for 3 years. As far as we know it could be just as legitimate as their "game" is.

I think all these other clones are silly. I want to play DayZ. Not WarZ, Zday, or whatever else those geniuses come up with. Just give me a stable server without hackers or tents that delete all my gear and I'll pay for it. It's that simple.
