Hopping is a problem, because some of these alt f4ers you speak of hop to another server when engaged, move to a good vantage point and get the drop on whoever engaged them. Some pathetic punks actually do this repeatedly, switching vantage points trying to snipe you and will never engage in a real firefight because of this.

Sounds like you need to get comfortable. I definitely agree with you about the nerve wracking nature of this game, but as I play more I'm just trying to stay relaxed and think clearly no matter what the situation is. Just play some more, live, die, and just stay relaxed

For those of you who saw my post on the first page, I was just paranoid and wasn't actually globally banned at the time. Something went corrupt in my DayZ files that was causing me to be kicked from every server. So I can't personally claim to be a legit player who was banned wrongfully, but I'm still not going to make an ass of myself and dismiss every single claim that someone was wrongfully banned.

As opposed to what you're doing that is so damn helpful? For some reason being a huge asshole about the problem is an acceptable use of time, but coming to a thread about being people being wrongfully banned and claiming to be one of them is such a waste you have to write paragraphs on the issue. Turns out I was not banned, just happened to have something go corrupt in my dayz files earlier. So now I personally can't attest to being a victim of being banned this way, so who knows what the truth is, But really, telling people not to come and tell their side of the story just because people who do cheat say the same thing? That's like saying don't ever plead not guilty to a felony you didn't commit, because you know all those guilty jerks always say the same thing! I mean you've got nothing to do at 2 am, so why are you so critical about how others are wasting their time discussing this?
