Are you sure you play on official / HIVE servers? And the high ping may cause you to be unsynchronized with the HIVE, thus not saving your inventory.

Lol at Six Launcher, no offence. Go to your Operation Arrowhead installation folder (Probably /steam/steamapps/common/operation arrowhead/ something'ish) and locate the @DayZ folder. Delete the contents of it, and place the old files of a copy of 1.7.2.4 in it and it should work. Six Launcher will force you to update again as far as I'm aware, so that won't even help. That's why I laugh at Six Launcher. Forces you to update, geez. Use DayZ Commander, tells you there's an update, but doesn't tell you you need it to play. ;-)

Just make beartraps more powerful, and you got a good "claymore". Make them so you bleed and go unconscious, so you basically die if you're alone.

There is no patch named 1.7.5 And since I know you mean 1.7.2.5 obviously, I can help you by telling that it's pretty obvious you can't connect to an older server version than your client version. Just download the old 1.7.2.4 files again and place them in the @DayZ folder. Ask a friend of yours that still has 1.7.2.4 to send them. :-)

Could be, but I doubt it. Homepage / Download page aren't "big" pages and shouldn't use a lot of bandwidth, and Cloudflare should also speed up the site and save bandwidth by caching these pages.

The patch is hosted on a Swedish node, so there is no load from the patch on the US server on which the website and forums are hosted.

Secured Servers is pretty good at blocking the incoming IP address of the attacker, if it is a denial of service attack. So then it's either a pretty good DDoS'er or the server is having some problems.

Their server is under high load, or Secured Servers is having problems again. I've had dedicated servers there before, and they have a lot of maintenance. DayZ their website is hosted on a dedi (or cloud) at Secured Servers as far as I'm aware.

I hope they make a character custumization system so you can pick your face, clothing, and more, and then they should add a special outfit for those who have preordered or those who have been playing the DayZ Alpha Mod, as a thank you. Pricing won't matter to me, I hope it will be a little expensive so that they can make more money :P

The engine wasn't really designed for a game/mod like this, it was made for Arma which is a military simulation game, and the way you move, walk etc. is excellent for that. Feels weird if you're not used to it.

Some people have slow downloads, like myself, so I download from my own mirror too, that was firstly the reason we coded this, so we wouldn't have to download at 2kb/s.

Keep Chernarus, but make the main cities even bigger, and make the entire map bigger. I like the variation of a city, small town and the wilderness, and the post Soviet looks suit a zombie apocalypse.

They might have been hacked in I guess. All hacked vehicles will disappear after restart even if you save it I think.

I'm currently playing with 2 other friends, and we're always either on TS3 or talk by Skype when playing. We have a camp with multiple weapons, food and etc., and we're looking to making this a little more serious I guess. We want to get some more people, and get a strict but fun group together. We will not fire upon other people unless they are a danger to us, or if they fire first, or anything like that. Each person will get a role sort of, we get designated drivers/pilots and what not more. Just send me a PM with your age, Skype name and what timezone you're in. We don't really have a homeserver right now, altough we usually play on the same server. We will split up in smaller groups, share all the loot, and everything what is in the tents. We're not the kind who say "This is my tent, my weapon blabla." We share all the items in tents, and we don't want people lone wolfing and things like that. I'll get a forum and a TS3 server up soon if I get some interest. We'll be sort of roleplaying, with ranks and roles.

Bad serial? Or serial not found? Probably register file with key not found or it's "dirty". Either reinstall game, or manually update .reg file or use little software to update your key.

You're talking like the engine is or is supposed to be made for DayZ. It isn't. It's made for a military combat simulator, and it works excellent for that purpose. Now go back to bed kid, BI isn't going to make a custom engine or modify their existing engine for a mod.

Yes. Me and my friends were laughing uncontrollably cause it was so funny, but we were able to control the cow, and we were the only cows (My friend was a chicken) so we walked (3 cows and a chicken) in a row and started walking to random players and annoy them until one of us got shoot and got gutted lol. Still funny when I think about it.
