Fallout and Borderlands 2 crossover. Why? Cause Fallout and Borderlands 2, that's why.

Most likely a scripted-in M136 from a hacker. The description you gave fits the scenario perfectly. You will never get the bugged M136 to work, as you can only get a legitimately spawned launcher to properly fire.

Server IL5 Chicago Laughingman's server
Disastrical replied to rareh3ro's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
How about a video or screenshot? Something that allows for more proof. Otherwise, nothing can be held accountable for "Laughingman" if he never did anything wrong. -
This Thread needs buried.

Welcome to DayZ. Try Low-pop servers first so it allows you some breathing room when searching the big towns. -

Disastrical replied to MaiiinStream's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
These servers are all connected to their own Private Hive. You can't do much other than warn the Forums of a no-good admin hosting the servers. -
killing people without weapons
Disastrical replied to kingofallsasquatch's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
That option of player killing would be too...efficient and overpowered. This isn't Killzone or anything. -
Banned by Butt-hurt admin, stay away from ATS private hives.

You gotta love admins like those. Thanks for the insight. -

Clipped through wall of sealed room NOW WHAT?!?!
Disastrical replied to NonovUrbizniz (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
The two posts above are about as advisable as it gets. If you can't get out by means of vaulting, crawling, rolling, etc., then follow the steps Separat0r mentioned -
Read up on the servers that you join. On private hive servers, admins can implement items of their choosing on the map. The main hive, which holds most servers of DayZ, only spawns the weapons listed in DayZdb.

Also, the nights are supposed to be as dark as they are. They made that a factor in the game-world. Pre-mornings are supposedly the darkest of the hours, so you should be good as far as sight goes past dusk hours and before midnight.

Updated to 1.7.3 - Server Rejected Connection!
Disastrical replied to Jasonmm's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
This seems to be of a problem for some people. Not sure on what to tell you though. I downloaded my patch update from DayZ Commander and it installed and works just fine. I'm able to join 1.7.3 servers and play on them. (Just letting you know that the patch is downloadable from DayZ Commander for a lot of people, however, some, like you, have some error going on. Not too sure on what it is, however, there should be a troubleshoot up about it soon.) -
DayZ: Commander not showing the latest ArmA patch
Disastrical replied to deceitfulphoenix's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
Should work just fine. I downloaded 1.7.3 from DayZ Commander and installed it just fine. I was able to join a server and everything. -
Sausage King's Post is the solution to the problem. Confirmed.

I'd advise renaming the topic title to something more appropriate to the subject. Something like: I need some people to follow, I want to be in a group, etc. It'd get you better results. :)

(First off, I don't know too much of Panthera, because I've only played it a few times and don't know too much about it. If it helps, you can fly planes on the island.) Panthera is an island map and is sort of similar to Lingor (minus the total middle-eastern outlook). It has deserts, high hill/grassy mountains, flyable planes, and major cities that are well-organized. There are some areas that are great for PvP like the high towering buildings, hills, and long desert plains. The overall map is professionally designed and fits well. Namalsk is another island map, that consists of high elevated mountains and snowy regions that contribute to cold weather. Unlike Chernarus, body temperature is one of the major key factors of this map. You are surrounded by many areas with low temperatures that make you become "cold". If you do not have the Warm Clothes outfit, as it is extremely rare to find, then it'd be completely necessary that you always keep spare heatpacks on you when travelling up mountains, or having to traverse through the rain. If not, and you find that your temperature meter drops to a light blue color and starts flashing, you have the high possibility of catching sickness (Of when you start coughing, losing small amounts of blood by the second, infects, etc.). Just finding heatpacks are about 3/4 as rare as finding Antibiotics, so be sure to loot them on first find. Its also important that you collect any foods/drinks that you find on your travel to Vorkuta (Major city stockpiled with good equipment and food/drink; you definitely want to go here on your first playthrough). Food and drinks are hard to find on this map, purposely, to add in a more difficult experience of surviving. Like heatpacks, always pick these up on first notice, as they may become impossible to find until you get to a major town with a grocery store. One thing you won't have a problem finding are the guns, and the munitions for them. Multiple military posts are placed well across the island and they all spawn medium to high grade weaponry. This contributes to the great PvP opportunities that make this map notorious (Perfect vantage points, roadblocks on bridges, constant banditry or false-honest men, ...you get the idea) [Edit: Just gonna put some bullets down for easy reading] Namalsk is much smaller than Chernarus. Don't be discouraged by the looks of travelling long distances, as they aren't as far as they seem. Never trust a single person in Namalsk. If you meet up with someone in a friendly occasion on the map, no matter how nice of a player they seem to be or how helpful, always have a thought to pull the trigger on them as they may just be drawing in your trust. There are many easter eggs on this island. I don't wish to spoil these, so find them out for yourself! Be cautious for Seraja Army Base, as this is a military compound on top of a hill and counts to be a hot spot for multiple hostile contact (because of the nice loot that spawns there). Be very sure to collect all Water Bottles you come across, no matter the odds. When climbing mountains, make sure you climb to the peak only if you have the ability to heat yourself back up while there, whether by a Heatpack, Campfire, or Warm Clothes. If you wish to pursue the Bandit lifestyle, there as many easy spots to camp down to intrude other players. Watch out for a military, underground bunker. Its a neat place to discover. The locations for Helicopter Crash Sites are static. There are 58 Deer Stands located within Namalsk. All in all, I prefer Namalsk over any map besides the original Chernarus. [Just want to say that I'll edit this post later today. (3:22 AM) <<Its early in the morning and just laying down some insight before detailing. Have a nice night.] [if you want, I can add more info of Namalsk if you prefer me too. Any questions of the map, ask me in PM or quote this post and reply to it on this topic.]

What's also necessary is that if you're near a town when finding the animal, is to make sure you fire the primary facing away from the town. This minimizes the hearing of the sound created by the firing of the weapon from within the city. Not too sure if it depends on zeds though, they hear/see all just when you don't want them to.

And in response to the video, that is the complete reason why I don't use secondary weapons on cows. Typically, a single shot to the head from your Primary rifle/shotgun should do the trick. Saves time and ammo.

hacker controll me ?! de 807 (Added video)
Disastrical replied to Yemci's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
Its kind of odd. Did this 'situation' happen only when you were in the server? Have you ever encountered these people before? -
^This. xD Try having your driver enhance his ability at the wheel. I know Arma's original controlling of vehicles can be... challenging, but there's always a way of mastering controls. Its necessary for a person like "Kaptn" to be trusted to transport you guys and bring you where you wanna go. And its also important that you build that group strong. Always be generous to your group. Appreciate that you have friends to go with you on your travels throughout Chernarus and DayZ.
