Yeah the damage is done, but then players get wrekless and go on PvP rampages, i just keep an eye on the logs and mop up the mess, then go hunt for whatever remains. Clean and Clear policy... same with camps with duped or scripted weapons. i take my axe to them and erase them from my server.... If a player agrees to take a scripters offering then they are as bad as the scripter... and will be dealt with, not by kick or ban but by death.

Dude it's what i see a beard for, stashing stuff man... first time ever since leaving the military i've been able to grow one myself, and i will hide stuff in it when it's long enough! Hair would be long and rugged, nails like claws, and hidden away are high heel shoes capable of doing more damage than an axe! PS. always good to see another Derpy about :)

Again i won't ban certain things unless it's getting out of hand, IE a scripter running about arming new spawns with say LA85's or MK48's, scripter gets banned and i ask nicely for players to drop the weapons, most wont but i wont kick them, i generally wait for them to bump into each other and start killing... i simply hide the bodies of their "unfairly acquired loot" and proceed to mop up any excess players still with the scripted in weapons... This is a survival mod, at the end of the day it's not like IRL someone is just gonna appear in front of you, hand you an SA80 A2 rifle with 6 mags and wish you a good day......

aslong as the number of scripting tools is being decreased it's a step forward, now the server admins need to start stomping out the illegal gear and progress is really being made. Im just happy to see Battleye is still striving to make a difference, a small one yes but still a difference at the end of the day

if its legit then i aint going to bother with them as i said, don't care how you got it it's still legit, though if i see the logs and i do read them frequently and notice anything not on the DayZ equipment logs then you can kiss your sorry ass goodbye from my server, end of!

great fun and very very rare, found one on a dude earlier called "blood" he just smashed a red UAZ into a roadblock at Prig... was a new spawn like, nothing on him bar a satchel charge, took it and skipped away to a near barn, set it up and walked off before detonating with a huge smile on my face!

Probably one of the best ideas i've heard. some of us that are in our 4th+ month of battle deserve some kind of veteran trophy, and nothing sounds better than a tattered beard, gruffy hair and some shitty looking clothes, basically looking like the guy from "Hobo with a Shotgun"

Nope if you read what some of us write, we warn them, they don't drop it, we kick them, return with same item they get asked again, they failed to comply then it's disregard of the admins wishes in my eyes.... banned

You fit the bill for the EFS, we are a military group led by myself, using modern military tactics to attack our opponents and gain ground, We have alot of different roles to be filled, Medics, Infanteers, Engineers and Support. Your age doesn't matter either, experience and loyalty is all that counts, if you are interested just drop me a PM and i can arrange for you to join one of our training exercises

If im splashing out £30 a month for my server to be publicly used i will police it my way... im all up for allowing anyone to come join but as soon as i notice anything hacked in or being used i will give a warning and then kick, if they return without disgarding their weapons then bye bye... i rented this server so people could again enjoy themselves and not have to worry about looking over their shoulders all the time. Kinda dissapoints me looking to see some of you guys giving the admins a hard time, if all they do is ban hackers and try to eliminate what isn't on the DayZ weapon list, i mean yeah i bet you are all in favor of it, till thats script kiddie appears with an AS50 TWS of G36 and rips your head off. then you cry out why the admins have no power.... I police my server my way, for the players. to bring some level of enjoyment back to DayZ, hate me all you want but i stick to my moral's.

i kick all players on my server with illegal weapons with the stark warning either drop them or face a ban if they return with the illegal goods, means fairer play for all the legit players out there.
