Yes you are spot on the ball, i will be on pretty much all day as it is but im still trying to get some sort of Comms sorted out, server is good just no TS at the moment, where is KittyWitty when you need them!

well you could use it but not being an admin i wouldn't see the point to be honest, i don't run it myself, i rather look at the logs and see the evidence myself.... i do pour a hell of alot of time into seeing this mod progress, and the way i see it is by having the game run the way Rocket and the Dev team had in mind from the start. i spend about 6-10 hours a day playing the game/watching over the server and posting feedback and comments here to try and help improve the way the mod is working and others gaming experience. My objective is to have everyone enjoy this mod and unfortunatley with the amount of scripting and duping going on (i don't kick or ban dupers, mainly cos i find it difficult to trace them on the logs) im finding it ever more difficult and frustrating.

The software solution was actually deemed not a hack by the dev team... it was mainly and admin aid to stem the flow of non legit weapons. Scripting benefits the one player and hampers the rest... the inventory wipe is a way of evening the odds, use non legit stuff after being warned... the prepare to lose it

That will be why we don't use them... and yeah ironic that it was a medic that got hit... i would love to try one and see what it's like.

exactly and by now every player should know whats legit and not... most are being ignorant and ignore warnings hence i kick them, though again if they repeat their actions they leave me no choice but to ban them, mainly so i can get to play the game instead of spending my 6 hours game time kicking people repeatedly but then also stops me and my other admin recieving abuse a grief for not managing the system. We have had our server now for 2 months and server 287 bans... not one complaint issued to the forum about the bans and not a single email in my inbox.... i'd say what im doing is working. We also have 45 regular players on our server who play the mod as it was meant to... there is a reason they keep coming back

yeah fair enough. though only experience we got close to the real deal was War Corp... a week of live fire exercises before we ended our 6 month basic training. we have nothing like you're pull pits though, but war corp gives you that experience and knowledge to keep you alive in the field

yes there are rules but seriously, open your eyes man and see whats going on, It's killing the mod dead and if nothing is done about it then it will fade to nothing till the standalone is released, frankly i want to continue playing till it's released and many other will agree with me and the only way this will happen is if server policing steps up and people like yourself stop looking at the problem through rose tinted glasses. Yes i may be breaking some rules but in the end of the day i have 30+ happy players on my server that can get on and ENJOY playing the mod

yeah they are nippy as hell, but no doubt one of the ones near it contain satchel charges.... job done!

nice to see some people with common sense, this mod is being torn apart by these non legit weapons and the only way i feel to combat this situation with effect is to step up the policing on servers. The Dev team are so tied up right now jumping between the mod and standalone that we HAVE to help take the strain off them, even if this means one kick then ban.. i myself ban scripters on sight and give players with non legit weapons one chance and one chance only before they see the same fate, in my eyes if you are willing to use the non legit weapons then you become as bad as the scripters themselves, i may be sounding like a stubborn arse but again im trying to keep this mod pure and keep it on the lines it was developed to be.

Men... it's time to wield your axe's and start hacking down these Dupe tents and camps.... Viva la revolution!!

certainly wasn't the theater of war... but damn i love the sounds in this game, a whizz means its close, a snap means they are shooting at you!

can rent them from companies such as Viylair... as i do, just google DayZ server renting..

For me it's all my training just right back again, i even breathe to match my rifle fire even though i know it has nothing to do with my on screen character, it's just second nature now, though my parents now freak out when they see me like that!

Duping.... almost if not as bad as scripting....

if every time you drop your underwear you hear a whimper then yes... you have dogs.

i don't jump out my seat but my heart rate increases, start to sweat, eyes focus... breathing gets quicker, ears prick up... and my poor mouse almost gets crushed to death!
