    It's a hacked in weapon, can't be globally banned. Some admins wont allow it on their servers so they may ask you to drop it, if you dont they might kick/ban you from that server. Pick it up or dispose of it, you're call.... but be the good player and make it vanish!

    Or there is me, training my squad with live targets... nice to get down to the city one every so often, blow of some steam, get rid of all those campers and pesky AK runners holding the Supermarket for ransom, then off back up North just in time for my baked bean and BBQ'd steak rib dinner! mmmm tastes better with freshly looted Mountain Dew too!

    Though i still like to point out that sniper are skilled (in some cases) but in my eyes are cowards hiding behind a lens 600m from you in a bush somewhere up a hill... come to the city and fight me like a man...

    Some people are more skilled than others when it comes to the art of sniping, but .50cals are essential for any group, taking out large targets ie trucks or choppers at a range so your squad doesn't become endangered. I'll stand by my argument that if there is vehicles, then there has to be .50cal

    i've only ever managed to fire with reaction after aiming at a vehicle. nothing else happens when i aim at anything else

    Yeah watched your video. weird i have to say. SoMore he is right, the M240 is attached to the Huey and is an LMG class weapon.

    Firstly i've never had the loading issues but when firing with no target i got the same results, pointed it at a vehicle and locked on then fired, total difference. Secondly you can't replenish the ammo in the chopper!

    Usually before logging off ill set a little permieter round the vehicle, just checking to make sure it's of reasonable safety, usually enough time for the save to reach the hive.

    Hitting certain parts of a moving vehicle at 600m even with a .50cal does take skill. But in effect the .50cal has the 1 shot disable capability,

    Well wow, that's some rant, maybe the server was lagging or your connection was to blame, rarely have FPS lag myself, unless in cities but thats my CPU being the problem. Stop complaining and try again tomorrow. Also OP, this is for you...

    I keep saying everytime i see one of these threads, There are vehicles in DayZ therefor a need for .50cal Anti-Material Rifle. Just not so many.
