Hey it was the same when i started playing, you got shot, you died you got on with it... it made me a better player in the end, i focused, created a group, tought them what i had learned and now the game couldn't be anymore perfect. What new players lack is patience, they expect to log in and within 20 minutes be geared to the teeth and fighting waves of anything, well that just doesn't happen. Welcome to harsh realities of playing online gaming, jeez if i was to pick up CoD now i would get hammered, but i would still play, no complaints till i learned, till i adapted, all take time and patience again something alot of players lack! Again they bought ARMA, not DayZ and the way i see it is i will see fit to play the game how i like.... and to be honest the more i see these threads the more i march me and my troops south just to hit a few of you, just for making me read and reply... Im sorry sir but welcome to a cruel and unforgiving world where 9/10 people just don't give two hoots about anyone else apart from themselves. Adapt or Die my friend.

Why is ACOG the first answer for a sight anyone comes out with?? is it a CoD thing?? someone please enlighten me. The FAL if equipped with a sight would be more suited for a Red Dot sight system, ACOG is far too bulky for the weapon mounts plus it aint as good as the Red Dot for CQB scenarios

Great PvP weapon, highly accurate and very very powerful.... downside though is firing a portable nuke would probably be quieter than the FAL

Indeed, War is never pretty, kill or be killed in my eyes... If someone has lowered their weapon and approaches me saying friendly then i shall let them live... anyone else however is a target, in the way of what im going to achieve... therefore must be killed. Taking risks aint an option

Yeah, you become the "Jerk". So far DayZ has been one of the best Social experiments i've ever witnessed, i've noticed people change, become what they swore they wouldn't... some start to pity, others crave power. Human nature is a twisted yet divine thing

Best option... use DayZ commander, Six launcher just doesn't work anymore.. IMO

Yes the game has changed and the only way you can tend to survive these days is by joining a clan or some small group... Chernaus is now an evil evil place, but i still love it

It's a .50cal, only difference in the Mag size, the rounds are exactly the same... No difference on range or zero'ing

Agreed, everyone feed the snipers really, if you wise up a little then you may avoid them more often... Snipers should be kept, they are military equipment after all, just it's a specialists weapon... did i mention Military? PvP was always going to be part of the game, and so was the constant whining of players being out done by others... i mean come on its a Zombie survival game with GUNS.... what on earth did you think would happen, all meet at Starry and sing "combaya" round a damned camp fire?? People have prefrences and class roles, either deal with it or learn to adapt and beat your enemy instead of crying about it.

Zombies do, player heat sigs stay and fade over time after they have died...

Yo gabba gabba is epic (got my nephew hooked on it) I mean Tony Hawk on a kids show... that's got me interested. My kids are probably gonna hate my music when i have any... i mean bar the old Rock and techno, i hate pop and am totally hooked on the Brony music scene at the moment!

Really with the SUSAT sight it becomes a lethal CQB weapon.. at the moment the sight doesn't work with the lethal range of the weapon

I hug mine all the time for bringing me u with Floyd, Genisis, Led Zep, Beatles etc.. and also Techno music and Rave... So much music it's awesome!
