Hey it was the same when i started playing, you got shot, you died you got on with it... it made me a better player in the end, i focused, created a group, tought them what i had learned and now the game couldn't be anymore perfect. What new players lack is patience, they expect to log in and within 20 minutes be geared to the teeth and fighting waves of anything, well that just doesn't happen. Welcome to harsh realities of playing online gaming, jeez if i was to pick up CoD now i would get hammered, but i would still play, no complaints till i learned, till i adapted, all take time and patience again something alot of players lack! Again they bought ARMA, not DayZ and the way i see it is i will see fit to play the game how i like.... and to be honest the more i see these threads the more i march me and my troops south just to hit a few of you, just for making me read and reply... Why is ACOG the first answer for a sight anyone comes out with?? is it a CoD thing?? someone please enlighten me. The FAL if equipped with a sight would be more suited for a Red Dot sight system, ACOG is far too bulky for the weapon mounts plus it aint as good as the Red Dot for CQB scenarios

Great PvP weapon, highly accurate and very very powerful.... downside though is firing a portable nuke would probably be quieter than the FAL

Yeah, you become the "Jerk". So far DayZ has been one of the best Social experiments i've ever witnessed, i've noticed people change, become what they swore they wouldn't... some start to pity, others crave power. Human nature is a twisted yet divine thing

Best option... use DayZ commander, Six launcher just doesn't work anymore.. IMO

Yes the game has changed and the only way you can tend to survive these days is by joining a clan or some small group... Chernaus is now an evil evil place, but i still love it

It's a .50cal, only difference in the Mag size, the rounds are exactly the same... No difference on range or zero'ing

The M107 can be heard from alot further out, sounds like a damn Tank shell passing over your head!
