i do beg to differ with your hallucination theory, I shall use personal experience. When i came into a situation after my military days where immense stress and pressure came into it everything changed, best way to describe what happened was my audio levels dropped, everything was a murmur, stuck with tunnel vision, started to get light headed before after a few minutes coming back to my senses. Now any of the above could be implemented into SA to represent some kind of mental struggle and if you wanna barter on about realism (not aimed at you) then here is another solution. Problem is not everyone understands why mental illness happens or who it effects. Basically you could have this in the game with the knowledge of say some past experiences such as myself and it would work, what wouldn't work is the level of brain capacity modern gamers have, they would see this as a problem, "that wouldn't happen to me.... uhh thats not real blah blah blah" Trying to manipulate human logic into a game isn't easy and further more when the logic of 90% is "OMFG I MUST KIIII" then you can see why it wouldn't work.

Most likely seen as "non essential" work atm. as more of the serious issues are resolved then we can expect to see out Bino's and watches back in. It's mainly new stuff they are focusing on atm.

PTSD isn't just caused by shooting at someone... it goes far beyond that. Even just being in a combat zone with those split second life or death choices can trigger PTSD without a single shot being fired. Honestly though i don't know how you could make the character share some of the characteristics of PTSD since most symptoms stay hidden or are simply not spoken about, or what actually happens to someone suffering PTSD, my experiences go from one extreme to another but no two minds will every be exact on how they cope with the issue. A great thing to bring up OP, PTSD isn't discussed enough however i can't see it's symptoms and actions being well executed in a game.

unfortunately it is. No matter how much denial about client side this and server side that. But as Razor said, the Devs are more than aware.

BLEACH TASTES LIKE MUFFINS!

When we roll we roll hard, and this evening was no exception, our squad bolstered with a raw recruit Rooniedoo and in good spirits after a successful hunt the night before we rolled out against Ixxo the server admin who had put out a challenge to anyone in game.... "Kill me and reap the rewards!" an offer we simply could not refuse. With Ixxo bunked in hard at the NW and our squad leaving from "Bash" we knew it was only a 600m stomp before we would be in the line of fire, two young recruits wouldn't make this easier and upon arrival at the Northern section we found out exactly how hard this adventure would be. Rainbowdash was up above Ixxo trying to lay some fire from his aircraft whilst strafing the runways, Not wanting to run a risk of casualties i split the group up, BadLuckBurt took Horny Goldfish and Rooniedoo and began taking a slow route down the west approach using the wall as cover, for me however it was a lone wolf job, As much as i could rely on the lads i didn't want them to get wounded or worse so i took the east approach alone knowing all to well Ixxo lay in the middle, amongst the barracks and Hesco's, just waiting. Knowing we were coming. 10 minutes had passed and i had made it behind the Firestation, slowly making my way up the ladders and peering out into the central complex i could see zombie spawns but no enemy, he was well hidden amongst the debris and well hidden from my sights, i had only one option, and that was to get persona;. I deliberated with the lads for only a moment before Horny shouted "I found a truck!". wonderful, there is out plan B! His job was simple... drive up and down distracting the Zombies from me and prompting Ixxo to fire and give away his position. After 6 or 7 runs from Horny i finally made it into the complex with BadLuckBurt and Rooniedoo watching over the main entrance, Horny made his last pass from North to South again prompting Ixxo to fire, South west corner and i knew where he was heading. I crouched low in the grass and waited, i never had to wait long as Ixxo burst from my right and straight down my sights.... I squeezed the trigger of my RPK once... then again and again. His lifeless body hit the ground and the flies immediately started buzzing. We had done it, done what RD and his armed helo couldn't, done what no one else dared, we took on the Admin and we won, we won well. The gold i collected will be split evenly 4 ways tomorrow, the lads have earned their share, mine however goes into the building fund! and the weapons will me most appreciated when it comes to the next fight.

Depends what mod you play, i love Epoch but not got the time with Vanilla, i just want to get stuck in the action. Also depends what you class as fun... i like helping people out and building stuff but the real fun comes with hunting people and putting servers in a state of fear.
