Lol pretty amusing, i've had a dog running about elktro with me before, barking over direct when they found a survivor needing help, almost like Lassie... i saved a few that day for sure all thanks to that dog. -

Playing in a clan SUCKS!

I find playing in a clan a hell of alot more exciting than playing Solo, my clan has been together about 4 months now so we all know each other and how we play... In the beginning though it wasn't all so good, constantly dying and getting things wrong but time has solved that issue. Lone wolf has it's perks of course but i'm used to squad based tactics so i find working with others pretty essential in a survival enviroment -

No worries... i tried what the other guy said before about lining up with the respawn button and hitting escape..... that tactic owes me a new mouse! and i was still stuck at sea! -

dehydration is slightly faster, just leave DayZ running in the background for a couple of hours... you should be dead by then. other than that you best get swimming to the coast..... -

Im not entirely sure you can die from that though... you begin to bleed but it only drops so far then stops.... best bet is to either starve or dehydrate... go AFK for about 2 hours.. that should do it -

once the symbol is gone you can log out and in again with a much reduced risk of spawning in KO'd
