its just a minor set back, but i can't see it causing too many problems, i run all my music from an External Drive when im mixing a set up!

Technically there should be no problem at all, just rarely i think its the amount of Data going through USB that causes some errors.. but it is an option that would work

Just watch when you do something like this, i seem to have problems of the HDD shutting down or freezing under constant strain, i dunno wether its my HDD (Western Digital 250GB 3 months old) or just the fact im trying to play a game and a mod off an external drive.

The annoying thing is no matter how dark it is in real life you always adjust to the low light and can navigate without a worry. Very rarely do i have to use my red light at night.

yup, you are being caught off guard and *booom* Brain all over your nice new shoes.... Only advice i can offer is move faster in amongst cover and only stop when it is completely safe to do so...

Hopefully most of the problems will be sorted come the Stand Alone but as it stands using the ARMA engine it is almost impossible to clean up the Script Kiddies completely....

Almost sounds like your character information isn't saving to that hive, or any hive for that matter.... With that happening your character will re-set to it's last good save point... If the problem persists there could be an error in ONE of the mod files... but that is a maybe, anytime i have a problem like this i un-install everything then re-install it again and problem tends to be 95% of the time sorted. I can easily rule out Script kiddies (no one is that unlucky to be stalked and plagued endlessly by the bastards!) It might be server issues but if you are having problems on them all then i must have to rule that one out... If you have any more problems after a re-install just PM me and ill help troubleshoot with you!

Well yeah and No, Being it a Mod and in Alpha really has nothing to do with servers being slow as hell, Sometimes it happens when i play ARMA online, just depends how nice the internet wants to play!!

I for one would relish meeting others on a more "Hardcore" Setting, i have a feeling the game speed will slow a hell of alot as more players become more aware that without 3rd person you gotta slow it down a bit and take in your surroundings... you rush then you die.

if no one can help you then just stay logged in and go do something for an hour your character will have dehydrated to death by then.
