This is true, but then you clipping from the bullet hits an Artery then you are right royally shafted. no bandage is stopping that from bleeding out until you plug the Artery, requiring a field medics kit.

Nah can't ever see this happening.. The community has a damn good trading set up as it is, and to be realistic you would trade with items in the apocalypse not credits as such.. not anything of any value anyway. Being this the case the Standalone should be no different to how it is now, you want good loot? go out and earn it, then trade away...

Would have done the same as you, wouldn't trust anyone looting through my stuff, Usually punishable with a swift shot to the head, no comms no remorse. I must take the survival thing a bit too at heart, I will generally avoid most players but if someone is heading my way and is armed i normally shoot without explanation. Suppose it's just how look at it depends on your emotions are to it.

I personally only kill if the situation is in my favour, ie you just looted that barracks and ooh nice new DMR you have there.... mine... When out scavenging i wont take the risk of communicating, but rather wait out and check what you are up to and how much a threat you pose. If you have a better pack than me i'll probably kill you too, saves me risking going to a populated area for one.... Ultimately you have to be a bit ruthless to survive in DayZ for any decent amount of time, i agree though shooting new spawns is a no go.. i only ever engage up north or on the rare occasion some one starts a fight while im supply hunting in Cherno... if anything i'll leave Bambi's alone and maybe give them a lift somewhere if i have transport.

A .50cal is probably the only thing capable of ripping limbs off, and maybe a 7.62mm round below the elbow at close enough range but even then.... that would require some hell of a combat engine. SAW's will just pepper you with big holes, more shred you to bits than actually tear limbs off.. Same goes with most LMG's. .50cal GPMG's on the other hand... tear people in half!! and the noise... God like. bit OTT for DayZ though.

There may be more than one of each vehicle in each server now but the inventory slots are still the same, dayzdb.com and the DayZ Wiki both have information on inventory slots. Yes the inventory system is a bit weird with some items like matches but they were never in the original and it should be all sorted in the standalone. It's just something we have got used to with Mod.
